Hi everyone,
Post should be "How I got feedback removed not changed without using a feedback revision request"
Some people may know this, some people may not.. But I am going to share how I was able to get feedback removed without using a feedback revision request.
I woke up to see a negative feedback saying my item was broke and not genuine..
I got in touch with the buyer and explained my side of the business
(gave them some background information apologized for the item being broken I can offer replacement refund whatever you like but you should of contacted me before as my previous email after sale mentioned that)
The buyer responded and apologized for leaving bad feedback they were just mad at the time.
I then went to eBay live chat facility and spoke to a lady
"I said a buyer has admitted they should not of left bad feedback and are sorry and want this changed" I believe this was my lucky success I had with the feedback being changed as the buyer admitted they shouldn't of left bad feedback and are sorry.
The lady on eBay live chat said I will have to escalate this to our department team and they will get back to you with in 24 to 48 hrs.
Today I received an email through eBay to say the feedback has been removed. This was the email..
Hello xxxxxx,
This is xxxxxx from eBay Customer Service and I am getting in touch about "buyer ID" who left you feedback for the (item xxxxxxxxxxxxx). I can understand from your chat contact that you want us to remove this remark since the buyer admitted that they only left it due to the fact that they were angry and the fact that you could prove that this item is genuine. ( I actually never proved the item was genuine to the buyer I said to the buyer I provided invoices to eBay and they were approved but I never sent any invoices to eBay) I'm sorry to hear about what happened, rest assured that I'll help you with this.
I've thoroughly investigated this and I am happy to bring you the good news that I've already removed the feedback (including the detailed seller rating) they've left on your profile. I guarantee you that this is no longer visible on your account right before you received this email.
