Silver power seller here(Legit, never been banned) Performance metrics on "item as described" over by .34 in order to reach TRS. I Have 17 days to try to achieve TRS or wait 47 days and try again. Talking to family members about listing low value items (low risk) and having each buy approx 20 items. Eat the ebay/ paypal fees, create USPS tracking number, submit tracking, request refund on tracking (endicia) So this would cost me around $50 in fees if I did 100 transactions. What do yall think? Ebay red flag?

This may bring attention to your account. Is it worth risking a silver power seller account?

Try that exact plan, but not selling to family. So long as you post quickly, and describe the item correctly you have got more than enough time to get your DSR to a good level.

I've done this before.

You have to be careful.

Wait until the items are delivered and give it a few days until they leave feedback.

There is definitely a risk here. I would try to sell the cheap items legitimately. I wouldn't risk a legitimate account to achieve TRS status. The 20% discount is simply not worth it. Yes, there are other benefits to TRS and it DOES increase your sales, but you can still make plenty of sales without it.

Also, are you aware of the 2 month grace period? If your DSR's fall below what is required for TRS, you can keep your status for 2 months while trying to get back to where you should be. This was just announced in the Fall Seller Update.

And you are going to sell to your family to get back on top of things?

Sounds bright.

NOT.

Leave the family out of your ebay business.

Do not risk a hard fought for TRS/Power seller's account.

derp1234 - while GB states that it is not bright and I agree, what you are saying can theoretically be achieved via stealth - if doen UNLINKED, it can be done. That`s your decision.

As for reaching TRS, best of luck - it can be done WITHOUT involving family and other accounts if you push low-end sales of easy selling low-risk items.

Best of luck
