So this is by far the stupidest thing i've ever seen. Buyer bought an item from me he had 11 feedback and hardly any activity on account recently. Didn't pay and sent me a message requesting to cancel. I canceled the transaction and checked option buyer purchased by mistake or changed mind and he left negative feedback. Can this get removed and how soon?

Itll be tough to get it removed. Ebays guidelines in the matter are very strict unfortunately.
Is it possible the feedback was left by mistake? Have you tried contacting the buyer to ask them to remove this feedback or revise it?

First port of call would be to contact the buyer who left the feedback and ask them to agree to remove it.
eBay are unlikely to help, and IMO its not worth the extra risk talking to eBay brings to the account.
This is one of the reasons that I am always reluctant to cancel a sale. If you issue the buyer with an unpaid item strike then no feedback can be left.

Next time you should have the unpaid item assistant on, that way if the buyer doesn't pay and the unpaid item assistant kicks in, then the buyer can't leave a negative feedback. Since your buyer didn't pay, this would work. If he paid tho, that's a different story

I've had this same problem. I sent an email to eBay customer services via the help menu and they removed the negative from my account. As someone else said though, you don't want to draw attention to your account.

So if you open an unpaid case if a buyer doesn't pay, than they can only not leave a negative if they end up not paying for the item correct?
If the unpaid case is open and the buyer pays than they still can leave a negative or cannot?
I never use unpaid assistant because I feel that will upset the buyer and they will end up paying and than leave a negative

If they don't pay, the feedback is removed.
I never cancel transactions. Never. Well, if someone accidently buys 20 items and they meant 2 of course, but you know what I mean.
So one of my items end last night. Winner sends a message instantly and says they did not realize it was Right Hand and need to cancel. The title says RIGHT HAND and the description says, Right Handed. I will not even reply to this request...
This morning I get a message saying, "I know you understand where I am comming from with this item. I can not afford to pay international shipping fees in addition to duty fees. I can not justify it"
My response was, "Ebay has an automated system for people who bid on items and then don't pay for them. Merry Christmas to you and Yours!"
I will not reply to any more messages from this seller.
I relisted both items.
Unpaid item assistant is an asset for Deadbeat bidders.

But don't feel comfortable even communicating with this guy any further, in the past I would pay a buyer off if need be, not a lot but would tell them I would send them $20.00 sounds crazy but if there knocking your main hustle it slows traffic down tremendously then again there's always Amazon but I'm too out of touch to get my stuff on amazon, with their dumb policies.

I need to respond to the negative feedback the buyer left me yesterday. He said the item wasn't as described and I said we just had a misunderstanding with social media everyone can see whose who this guy is a professor at a good college LOL . I would paste the message he wrote back to me but I know it's not a good idea. But the elaborate detail he went into bugged me out at first then looking at his background it calmed my nerves a little bit. I'm glad I can vent here a little bit because telling anyone else working a 9 to 5 like they care

Yes it is best to start with the buyer and see if he is willing to change it or left by mistake if will agree to fix it just go to site map link at bottom of eb pages click that then click request feedback revision it will send the buyer a choice to change your feedback and leave it the same.. You can only send this to a buyer one time and if he chooses then not to fix it I would suggest calling eb but have all your ducks in a row as they might ask all about who you are before helping with the feedback. If you feel confident in talking to eb then call them if all else fails

It is incredibly easy. Non paying bidders cant leave feedback. Never cancel or revise when ebays policy protects you especially when it is 100% automatic and no need to call in etc...

I had situations like this couple of times, called eBay and feedback removed after a total of 10-20 minutes. Maybe I was just lucky to talk with a reasonable eBay employee. Good luck.

He mentioned that the buyer left neg feedback .So I was just saying if he is not confident talking to EB then start with the buyer atleast be ready to be drilled if you do call in sometimes you get a helping hand and other calls you end up the bad guy no matter how much you try to argue with them you are right. I had my listings ended and a message I was reported selling out dated medicine ..Never sold as much as a cough drop but no matter how much I told them to look back through my items and see I wasn't selling medicine they respond by emailing me that they wanted me to send in a copy front and back of my id . When this first happened if I didn't call in I would have just been suspended for listing for 7 days then back up and going but I was so P O being accused of selling old medicine I thought a simple call would do the trick I was WRONG..
But most likely a simple call will do the trick just be ready

It is an unpaid item case. Never have to call ebay for unpaid items.

Sold a 17x12 painting. Buyer left negative "smaller than expected" how is that even efing possible? After contacting him to see if it was left in error I got a whole lesson on how i must learn to accept my buyers rrmarks or I should not be selling. Funny, considering his eye watering feedback score of 4. INR is just as bad as negative feedback these days. Wouldn't get too upset about it.
