Internet Retailer Conference and eBay DevCon Kick Off

Internet Retailer is holding its annual conference this week in Boston, which kicked off with a reception in the Exhibit Hall on Monday evening. Conference organizers expect about 5,000 attendees. The conference, which runs through Thursday, features 91 sessions, 178 speakers, four day-long workshops and two days of main conference sessions. Keynoting this year's conference is Patrick Byrne, Chairman and CEO of Overstock.com. eBay's Stephanie Tilenius will be a featured speaker on Wednesday speaking on "The new eBay: What eBay's evolution means to retailers."

Meanwhile eBay is holding its conference for developers in San Jose Tuesday through Thursday featuring keynotes from eBay CEO John Donahoe and John Hagel, Co-Chairman of the Deloitte Center for the Edge speaking on "the Disruptive Power of Open Platforms."
