Ebay buyer Guarantee

Does anyone know if buyers lose their protection if they use a forwarding parcel address?

A scammer from CHINA use two accounts with the same forwarding parcel address but with different names.

@OP - if your buyer uses a forwarding address then your responsibility is to prove the shipment was delivered to the forwarding address. Whatever happens to it after that point isn't your problem.


It may not be the same customer you're seeing. I've had dozens of shipments with different names go to "Meest America" over the years.. which is a forwarding company for Eastern Euro countries I think.

Agree with Phaz0rz your responsibility only will to prove the item delivered to the address provided on paypal if he open item not as described case then you needs to also provide return label

Keep in mind 95% Ebay side the buyer

Thanks phaz0rz for your input. I appreciate it man. Europeans I never had problem with (knocking on wood). It’s the ones from China I am having a problem. I either get scammed from them on selling or buying side. I am sick of it.
I got read TOC for eBay. I read somewhere you lose buyer guarantee from eBay if you use parcel forwarding. I might be wrong. If that the case I am going to accep parcel forwarding addresses again

Thanks e2free. It looks like I am going to have to do my due Diligence to package forwarding addresses. It sad really is. Only takes a few bad apples to ruin it.

The buyer loses their protection because eBay can't be responsible for what the forwarder does. You don't lose your protection.
