Suspended for the 2nd time. Should I give MP info to verify it?
I created my eBay account about two weeks ago.
All the account details are true, except for my address.
Since I live in Brazil and I wanted to sell to the US market, I made an American one. It would be a simple thing, just selling t-shirts via Print on Demand.
However, I got suspended before even list anything. I could retrieve my account by answering some questions such as "What are you selling?" and "Who is your supplier?".
But now I got suspended again and they're asking harder questions.
"So that we can appeal on the suspension, please provide us with the following documents 1) Proof of the identity -- A copy of the front and back of your driver's license or other government-issued identification and 2) Proof of address you have on file with us -- A recent credit card statement or utility bill that shows your billing address. (You can black out your account numbers.)"
I am willing to give them my Brazilian passport, but I don't know if they would accept it since it isn't a US document.
To verify my address I already have a pdf statement from TransferWise which I can simply edit, print and scan to make it look real.
The address that I gave them was of one of these parcel forwarder companies. It's something like 123 XXX Avenue Suite #XXXX. That's the address that I would edit to appear on the TW pdf.
Do you think that I could get away with that? My original passport and this edited TW statement?
Thank you guys in advance!
