I don’t know how common this is but I struck a very helpful lady on eBay in Ireland on their chat who actually listened to me and didn’t just paste responses from their chats system. She actually said I can see no valid reason why your account is indefinitely suspended and make no promises but will have your case reviewed. This is after constantly being told there is nothing that can be done.

The account is suspended indefinitely already, all the Indian call centre staff just fob your off and give you the standard spell. I have an appointment to speak with her again next week so will see what happens.

helpful and ebay rep don't go together. even the ones that want to help are basically forced to read a script

don't believe any promises they offer

I look at it this way, I have nothing to loose, already set up on Etsy and shopify so if someone from eBay wants to help me I have nothing to loose

Why were you permanently suspended in the first place? What makes her think this drastic measure was invalid?

I was never given a reason, I did change my registration company and was advised this can do it, but there was nothing visible on their system to say why

I had such a situation. Corresponded with support. 5 different people wrote the same answers to me. The sixth person promised to help. Initiated a revision. And they unblocked the account. But this only happened once))
