Default MC999 selling limits haved changed

I get this message from eBay saying my account limits have changed and I have been selling for over a year now. Not sure how to continue at this point..take it slow or keep listing as normal?

I mostly sell just the same item every week or so. Do I need to mix it up?

I Have NEVER had my Velocity Limit DECREASED,,if that is going on for no apparent reason,,then I have to believe that the Catagory/Item that constitues the Bulk of your sales has most likely been re-assed at a Higher level of risk than when you were first issued your original Velocity limit,,,OR

You were selling something Different (Lower Risk) Item when your Velocity limit was issued then you Started selling something of Higher Risk and on a Routine Review this was discovered and your Velocity Limit was Reset to refelect the Higher Risk Items

These are the Only things that I can think of that would cause this,,

I have been selling just software and space my listings by about a week or two. Now Im not sure I can pay the bills if they limit me to 1 per month.

Should I request higher selling limits on a stealth account over a year old?

That definitely is a normal request - have docs ready in case.

Docs on a stealth account..how?

It seems they limited the amount I can sell, not the category, which is good.

I really need some ideas on what to sell next to make at least $600 a month.

Any help?

I'd assume that your account had no limit whatsoever?

Until they do give you a limit?

I Do,,,,,,,In a word,,,,,SOFTWARE,,,,,,,,,,,,One of the HIGHEST Risk catagorys Ebay has,,,

And even though you do not sell a lot, and have Perfect feedback,,The cases of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Software being sold on Ebay Might be on the Rise as a Whole,,so this may be some type of Counter measure to slow it down

Software=high risk
high risk= more problems/limitations/restrictions etc.
more problems=less $$$$

@Gman

Then I dont get why they have that category. Who can sell software, geez!

Any ideas on what to sell and is lucrative?

This is the first time I have ever been limited selling only 2 units a month.

Just make 10 Stealth accounts and sell 2 a month on each! Problem solved!

I have just received the email. This is something that must be reaching all kind of sellers no matter what:

- Account is 1+ year old
- 100% positive feedback
- Excellent DSR's
- Have been inactive for three months
- Never sold a single in high risk categories
- Had listed 3000+ items in the past

Got this out of the blue. There is definitely no reason for this. The only explanation is that e B a y is going crazy. F*** them!

Yes, this gets worse day by day.

Until now, new seller accounts had limits which were removed or decreased after 90 days.

But now that has changed: limits are slowly being placed on all kind of accounts (including well established ones) no matter if you sold one million of non-high risk items in the past. This was indeed confirmed via phone by them when I spoke yesterday, and I confirm that this has happened to me on a couple of accounts that had never raised any kind of red flags and have excellent feedback, DSR's, selling performance, etc.

Besides e B a y, in my whole life I had never seen a company who threats their customers like trash like they do, even at their expense. This is the biggest nonsense I have ever read about them.

Those *******s need a competitor now, and I really hope that Bonanza and eCrater finally make it.

Talking of selling limits have a look at this account:

eBay Feedback profile for shopoxi

How the hell has this one managed to get this many listed with the age and feedback they have??!?!?!

I checked this out a few days ago and it was at feedback of about 81. Its got less than mine and its younger yet has 400,000 listed where as I of course have a selling limit. How the fffff****!?!?

I also got the MC999 selling limits have changed email on an account. The account isn't selling anything else than my other accounts, so I have no idea why this happened. Funny ...the account has no disputes or negatives or even neutral feedback. Other accounts that have had disputes and negatives or neutrals did not get the MC999.
