question about dialup internet

I want to make a stealth account and get a different ip with dialup internet.

But I do not have a landline phone number at the moment. Will dialup still work if i hook up the cables?

I don't think dial up will work without a landline connection.

You need some kind of a phone relay - whether dial up by cell or by landline. Only way via cables is to use magic jack I think.
