While masks im sure will reduce the spread to a certain degree its really not the primary way people are catching this virus. Unless the masks stops people from going around licking door handles its a negligible effect.

Pretty obvious to see that masks are being downplayed because there isn't enough to go around in Western countries.

- silences medical professionals who try to warn their colleagues about a spread of a new SARS
- covers it up
- has the largest collective banquet in the world in Wuhan

- spread goes exponential in Wuhan
- forced to admit it and start taking action in January
- silences journalists that try to expose the hellish situation unfolding in Wuhan
- Chinese CDC state that they are 100% sure the virus originated in Wuhan.
- China uses its influence in the WHO to convince the world that its nothing to worry about
- incinerators running 24/7 in Wuhan
- reports of people being sent off to incinerators while still moving
- WHO tells world its nothing to worry about and to not restrict travel to and from China
- China massively under reports the number of infections and deaths, the infected graph looks simulated and Japan confirm that China do not count suspected cases in death numbers
- WHO praises China
- virus starts to spread around the world
- WHO say its not a pandemic just an epidemic in many countries around the world
- becomes a global pandemic the likes of which the world hasnt seen since the Spanish Flu
- China then decide to shift the blame on to the US
- China threatens to cut off US medical supply and "drown them in a sea of coronavirus"
- China claim it's racist to say the virus comes from China

The end results will for sure tell us who was behind the release of this virus.

Trump signed a trade deal with China and was gearing up for the 2nd phase of it. China was on its way to enter the global stage with a world-class economy, so both countries are hurting from this economically.


What if a 3rd party is behind this? a party that is not overseen by nobody?

I'm not being racist. My business deals exclusively with Chinese suppliers.

I'm just calling it like I see it. It's a developing situation with tons of unknowns. I've already said I think it's manmade and didn't originate in China.

Does it matter? Unless there are masks available for everyone, of course they'd downplay it. Sure, if EVERYONE wore a mask, it would help things. But that's literally impossible. So the people that are sick, or might be sick, are the ones that should be wearing the masks that are available. Anything else is kinda pointless. And while countries like China hoard the masks for themselves, and non sick people grab them up for themselves, the people that are sick, will continue to spread the virus. A mask can prevent a sick person from spreading it, but it will not prevent a non sick person from getting it. Because human beings still have open eye balls. And we still have to eat food. This is triage 101. So until everyone that is sick or might be sick. Or hell, even until all the old people have masks, it's completely pointless for healthy young people with no symptoms, to wear masks. This is akin to bringing the horses back, while not fixing the broken barn door.

I don't. They lie just as much (if not more) as the Chinese government. It's what governments do.

To me it's just an interesting topic to research. Trust me, I've been worried that my posts in this thread are going to get me in some kind of trouble with my suppliers. Wechat stays running on my laptop 24/7. :shocked:

Our country has a constitution. Yours does not. To compare our government, to the insane totalitarian pestilence your government spreads onto it's people, is insane. Our government is actually accountable to the people. It's FAR from perfect, but it's light years ahead of China's. Literally no one believes anything from the Chinese government. The whole world knows better.

Doesn't take a genius to know that a worldwide 5% serious/critical rate means a 95% mild case rate. :lol:

Just so everyone knows, the serious/critical rate in the US is currently 0.4%, with only 64 cases currently.

They're reporting 120 recoveries in USA. If you click state by state, there aren't any states reporting recoveries - just deaths.

Then there's a random spot in the midwest with -120 active cases, somehow

They maybe grouped all recoveries for the country into one pinpoint? I don't understand why they would do that though, rather than listing recoveries with the state statistics.

It's just a tactic so that western citizens don't blame the incompetence of their own governments and they can blame shift to China. China did cover up some things but we all saw it unfolding and our governments barely reacted at all. None of them wanted to take the economic hit of closing borders in case they ended up looking stupid. It's one problem with our system.. it would've been political suicide had they made that decision and it turned out to be wrong. So instead they do nothing and wait until it's too late. Now they've screwed up worse, but because they all hesitated, including their political opponents, they've all made the same mistake and they're all in it together and therefore it isn't political suicide.

The death rate has been rising by at least a half percent per day for the past week. It's up to 10.22% as of the 19th.. so I expect at least 10.72% when this chart is updated with today's statistics.

What exactly is this based on? I mean, 10% death rate is only valid when it comes to people about 80 years old.

And even if your numbers are accurate, there is ZERO reason to predict it would be 50% at any point, let alone 3 months. All our numbers right now have nothing to do with reality of what actually is, and all to do with testing. You can test only 70+ year old people, that have symptoms, and like magic, the number is 10%. Test only pre teens, and like magic, the number is now .05%. If every single human being was tested, numbers would be accurate. Hell, if every sick person was tested, numbers would be close to accurate.

It's based on the number of worldwide cases that already have outcomes. It's not based only on USA stats. Other countries aren't just testing old people.

The reason I predicted 50% within 3 months is because it's been rising by a half % per day consistently. It's just maths.

Without China's questionable recovery stats it would be a lot higher. 71k of those recoveries were reported by China. People aren't recovering in the rest of the world anywhere close to the rate that people recovered in China.

It takes people a week or 2 to die from this. The numbers are catching up to that, and will fade in the next week or so. As more people recover.

how is that considered a death rate.... It's only counting the people either recovered, or died??? It's not counting the people that are still sick.... how do they not matter?

Because, you can't calculate a death rate for anything until cases have been resolved.

People who are still sick can either die or recover. You can't count them in the death rate until you know which they're going to do. Case fatality rates have always been calculated this way. They are based on resolved cases.
