2400 new cases were reported on the 3rd. Italy seems to have had the worst day yesterday. Italy is now up to 2502 cases, South Korea is up to 5621, and Iran ranks 3rd with 2336. USA is now up to 127 with most cases located on the West Coast and the East Coast rapidly catching up.

You could well be right, the virus may mysteriously disappear and the mainstream media will churn out headlines like "How the world beat Corona "...."It shows you what the world can achieve when it comes together"...and they will congratulate everyone for washing their hands.

Plenty of cases have already been reported in parts of the Southern hemisphere where it is currently Summer. It's always summer somewhere.

The Wuhan lab was working with bats in an attempt to develop a SARS-Cov vaccine. That lab has worked extensively with various coronaviruses since it became a BSL-4 certified lab in 2015. Coronavirus research has been the official explanation of that lab's purpose since Covid-19 starting taking off in December. Despite there being a clear and obvious source for where this coronavirus mutation likely originated, the media was quick to push the racist narrative of it originating in a food market.

The latest data I've seen shows that there are already dozens of mutations of Covid-19. It mutates very rapidly and there have been instances where different members of the same family, who were all living in the same house, were infected with different distinguishable mutations of Covid-19. Scary stuff, really.

There's been evidence that at least a certain percentage of the "cured" people still carry the virus. Some have tested positive again weeks after being discharged from the hospital. Meaning that cured people could possibly be infecting others after getting their "cured" status. :shocked:

As aspkin pointed out, the rest of the world is going to have a much harder time getting it under control than China has.. because the rest of the world emphasizes "human rights" whereas China does not. You aren't going to see doors being welded shut in NYC. Trying to lock down an American city would probably do more harm than good anyway (people would go nuts and start looting, rioting, etc.) so I don't think it would happen.

I give it 3 days before my state starts reporting cases. :pop2:

Can't wait to see how America reacts when the rate explodes in one of their cities. Isolation seems to be working in China, the rate was on the verge of explosion and has now stalled and slowed down. Reminds me of hearing historical accounts of how bouts of the plague would pop up in just one small part of London then disappear once people reacted. These things rely on the fact that many humans spend so much time in very close interaction. Once they're forced to stay home through fear it will stop, so people overreacting can be a good thing.

Better than them wasting time wandering through malls spitting saliva over shopkeepers just so they can socialise without buying anything. This is genuinely what scores of people do just so they have something to do for the day. The empty streets in China are showing just how much traffic and human movement is unnecessary.

The thing is, isolation wouldn't work in America for a number of reasons. Americans have too much of a freedom complex to lock themselves down at the direction of the government - especially with the current political climate in the US. If the government ordered a lockdown in the US, large portions of people would do the opposite just trying to spite the Trump administration.

I can't wait to see how it'll play out here either. The next few weeks should be interesting.

2200 new cases reported on the 4th. South Korea leads outside of China with 5621 cases. Italy is in 2nd with 3089, Iran is 3rd with 2922. The US is up from 108 yesterday to 157 today.

2600 new cases reported on the 5th. Yesterday saw the biggest single day increase in new cases outside of China. South Korea still leads with 6593, Italy is up to 3858, and Iran is up to 3513. The United States is now up to 233 cases with cases showing up in several new states yesterday.

Anyway, the crisis may very well be over and just needs a couple more months to be officially dead. The virus has peaked in China (supposing the WHO is not lying) and now it has to peak elsewhere before all of this becomes history :pry:

My understanding is that China has refused the help of WHO, The Red Cross, the CDC, and any other organizations that aren't part of the CCP, since the very beginning. Meaning that the numbers WHO reports for China are reprints of Chinese state sponsored numbers. China wanted to make sure they had total control of the numbers being reported within their borders so they could control the narrative and manipulate public perception of the situation there.

Am I wrong? I seem to remember several sources saying that all of the Chinese numbers have been produced solely by the Chinese government, with little to no intervention from international organizations.

True, they may be higher, but not too much higher. I mean the vast majority of Hong Kong's population is ethnic Chinese and they have reported 102 cases so far, I don't see why China's numbers should be much higher than they are now taking into consideration the draconian measures they have taken to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The Chinese are doubling down on solar energy and that is pissing some people on this earth in a royal way because once the world start noticing that China is supplying its energy needs dirt cheap, many countries will follow suit and that's bad news for some businesses (In fact, the biggest ones).


The more you dig into this, the deeper it gets! It seems that all the strong-arming of China wasn't about trade deficits or forced technology-transfers, it was about oil and delaying or perhaps stopping the one belt one road initiative.


We could only speculate and draw conclusions from the data available to us, but actually nobody knows for sure who released COVID-19 except the people who did it. They say follow the money or see who would benefit from this, but many parties could in theory be the beneficiary of this deadly virus.
