Falcons have went south quick. Saints will kick their butts.

49ers should destroy Redskins.

Since not many here follow college football like I do,

Ohio St is once again going to get screwed unless Florida St loses.

How can a team who has won 24 straight games not play in a Natl championship game is beyond me.

Been reading a bit about Florida St and yes, it is baffling for Ohio St....24 straight games...

Not a fan of Florida St yet.

QB is very good but I dont think they are a No 2 team.

Tell me about it.

If it was most people they would already be in jail.

He is a protected sole who needs to be in jail and not playing until it has been investigated.

If he is guilty then the university should pay the price.

Urban Myer would have canned his sorry butt already. He did this many times for idiots doing simple things or breaking laws and did not care if it was a star player or not.

Only if we sellers could get that protection. We would only need one stealth account in a perfect world.

It's Sunday, fellow stealthers.

Currently watching lions vs bucs at home. Pretty sloppy game so far but stafford just got us a TD.

Anyone else catching some games?

Peyton Manning is not very good in cold weather. Take him outta the dome and warm weather and he gets average fast. Even last year in the Ravens Playoff game he was average at best the Return man returned 2 kicks for TDs. Yesterday Moreno was a freaking best. Whoever thought that guy was going to amount to anything after being a bust. But Pats don't fumble twice and throw a pick in the first 3 possessions. That very well could have been a blow out.

Manning and the Broncos are very good I give them credit. But as they pundits where talking about it all week. Brady has proven time and time again he can win in cold weather and conditions like those high winds Sunday in Fox.

I do find it quite Ironic. Brady and Peyton are the best two QBs from that era of QBs. Manning seems to have all the regular season records. Brady has the Superbowls and his only blemish to his postseason record is the two Superbowls he lost to little Brother Eli. Lol. Go figure.

So very true - quite funny. And yet brother Eli is struggling this year...quite the drama :FF:

NFL has been strange this year. Now KC loses again.

Lol. Espn announcers are making Carolina out like they are the team to beat.

Chargers are scary if they can get in the playoffs. They are just so Jekyll and Hyde. One week they look great and the offense is sharp. The next week they are getting their but kicked by the Raiders. Seriously like a Bipolar team if there is such a thing. If they get in that final WC spot could be like the Giants who won the SB with 9 wins or the Cardinals who got there with 9 wins.

I do like Carolina very much. Only because I think they could possibly win in Seattle. I don't really see any other team accomplishing that. But you never know. Interesting to see how things play out.

As I said earlier I do not like the Bronocs because Manning has spit the bit in cold weather. Brady could very well come out of the AFC. I still am interested in the Chiefs. If the get into a cold weather game the ground and pound and the defense could be the difference. Hard to say because weather does play such a significant role in Payoff games that are not in a dome. As well as the SB in NJ this year. Keep that in mind.

The Bills play there once a year if I remember (or at least last year I remember they played there).

Three games today...hopefully they're all competitive and not snooze fests.

Really miss the days when Barry Sanders would routinely play on Thanksgiving. He was always one of my favorite players to watch on this day.

Best think about Barry? He didn't have a touchdown dance or a celebration in the end zone. He would just hand the ball to the Ref and acted like he'd been there before :)

Poor QB play. Either they have to let this guy loose and just play. Or hand the ball off 30+ times a game. Not a pocket passer. Looks like a college QB staring down his receivers hoping they are going to be wide open. Unless Greg Roman changes the game plan don't see the 49ers going anywhere. Unless the defense starts scoring the the TDs.

Re: NFL Season 2013 has begun

Last night's game ended crazy.

Pittsburgh scored 3 TDs during that last drive...

1. H. Miller: Refs said he scored. Replay reversed after showing knee was down prior to reaching goaline.

2. L. Bell: Refs said he scored. Replay shows helmet coming off just prior to crossing goaline.

3. J. Cotchery: Finally scored on the reception on 4th and goal.

I think #2 was such BS. I understand the play is blown dead after helmet comes up, but why does that apply to someone in mid-air. Guy went all out to get a TD, got a concussion for it...give him the TD!!!

Just more drama added to an already weird season in the NFL.

Refs are blowing a ton of calls and trying to control the game.

Last week they stated they can make calls based on probability? REALLY?

I am a huge Alex Smith fan but aside from that. All the other QBs in the NFL when the defense are on the field are on the headset talking with the offensive coordinator going over plays what they saw in the defense etc. This guy is just sitting there on the sideline with his hat half crooked. Not sure if it the head coach, offensive coordinator or who is to blame for that. You never see him getting the sky shots of the defense formations and talking them over with the receivers or anything.

Also the 49ers messed up big time by not bringing in a older QB who has played quite a bit in the NFL to mentor him. A Charlie Batch, Mark Brunell, even like a Jason Campbell. At-least someone who has been a starter in the NFL for quite a while to help mentor.

49ers if they go ground and pound with the running game I think can still win games. Especially with the defense. But the play calling they have on the offensive side of the ball right now and the QB play is going to limit them.

Still like the excitement of the college game myself.

Tomorrow is going to be a good one.

Hoping Auburn knocks of Bama or FSU gets beat so Ohio St gets into the championship game.

Of course they have to beat Michigan.

Auburn-Bama game will be awesome to watch.

The "Civil War" Oregon vs Oregon St. was a good one for west coast folks. Notre Dame vs Stanford I am looking forward to.

Auburn vs Alabama is always awesome.

Even San Jose St. knocked off undefeated Fresno St. Big game for smaller schools in my region. Cost Fresno a BCS game.

Rivalry games are always awesome at the end of the year. Takes away all the standings and BCS, etc. And focuses everything on the one on one match-ups.

Looks decent?

1 vs 4 and has two components.

Alabama wins they will be in the championship game AGAIN.

Could win 3 in a row.

AJ McGarron wins this game he deserves the Heisman.

No one had him on their list all year and now all of a sudden they wake up and say -- oh crap this QB has won two straight championships and going for a 3rd maybe we should consider him.

They were all boosting about Oregons Mariota all year and then he fizzled. They switched to Fla St qb who is in trouble with the law and now they dont touch his name much.

Auburn wins it pushes Ohio St into the match and if Fla State loses also it could flip flop 1-2 with 3-4 which would be cool as heck.

Auburn beats Alabama.
Ohio St beats Michigan
Florida St loses and you will see a mess in the BCS.

Perfect year this year for a playoff with 1-4.

Auburn - Alabama...My GOD! That might have been one of the wildest finishes in college football in a long time.

At first, I thought the field goal looked good...then when Auburn was running it back, I said no way is he going anywhere...I thought he had stepped out of bounds...then my jaw dropped to the ground when he scored.

The camera even caught one of the Auburn players saying 'oh...my...god'.

Sandy, rsot, vogeltron...I know you guys saw that game...it certainly blew me away.

Sandy D 12-01-2013 01:09 AM

Re: NFL Season 2013 has begun

Amazing.

Cannot remember ever in my lifetime a game ending return on a FG.

And that is not like Saban to make a stupid call like that.

I would have punted and pinned them down as close as I could get to the end zone and made them go 80-90 yards with not much time left to score.

So now my Ohio State Buckeyes win at Michigan St and they should play Fla St for the National title.

Then you have Auburn who might be the best team in the country and might be left out.

Thinking if it were me I would go Auburn v Ohio St ( if OSU beats Mich St ) and leave Fla State out.
