Its been a while since high school English class, but I believe the point of the story is that Scrooge learns a lesson.

You know what? You're right. I think everyone should have access to other peoples stuff if they want it. So I'm going to be sending some thugs to your house to collect half of what you have, and give it to me, because I want it. Do you want to know what happens if you don't give them your stuff? They're going to handcuff you and lock you in a cage I had built. Enjoy your new utopia!

That is simply not what is being proposed or how any of this works. I've got to assume that you're just trolling now.

There are counties that have no taxes that it is possible to move to.

I really dislike paying taxes but it's part of the price I pay to live in the UK.

Ultimately I do have the freedom to move to a country with no tax, but I choose to live in the UK so I have to submit to their tax laws.

Yes there are. The only problem is they are very hot and you pretty much must join a religion. Otherwise I would be down.

EW: Yes, that's exactly how it works. My taxes are used to fund socialist crap. If Sanders were elected, he would raise taxes to pay for said socialist policies. If I don't pay my taxes, I go to prison.

Please, explain to me how those situations are different?

James: Yes, there are countries that don't have an income tax, but keep in mind, if you're a US citizen, you have to pay for Social Security (15%) no matter where you go, unless you renounce your citizenship OR work a regular job in said country and pay taxes there. Anyone self-employed has to pay taxes to the US Gov no matter what.

Scratch that. Better idea:

EW can make stealth accounts and give them away for free to members who can't or won't make their own! Since he has the knowledge and abilities to do this, it's his responsibility to provide this service to those who are unable for any reason to do it themselves. There we go!
