Need ideas for own proxy server solution
I recently found out my ISP is quite unique... If i connect a switch to the modem I can simultaneously get as many static ipv4 IPs as I have cables for.
Instead of manually moving cables I want to attempt a more elegant solution where a dedicated computer would act as a proxy server.
I don't have that good of network knowledge for this, so I'm asking your suggestions about :
1. How to setup the connections to hold the IPs 24/7 so they don't change and to access them on the dedicated PC. Here are my initial ideas:
A: (modem)->(switch)->->->->(multiple routers)->->->->(2nd switch)->(dedicated PC)
B: (modem)->(switch)->->->->(dedicated PC with multiple LAN cards)
C: LAN card virtualization
something else?
2. how the PC should manage this small pool of 6-7 IPs
3. and how will it share them as a proxy server (one at a time or all, doesn't matter)
preferably on win os and minimal coding
