I just bought a sprint wifi mobile broadband device. My question is, does it have a MAC address, and if so is there a way to change it?
idk to be honest but I got the little black box device that allows multiple users and I have been switching between 5-6 different accounts by simply turning it off and on and not one account has been suspended. I have had up to $10k transactions in a day with no issues. I can't believe I ever used dial up.
Yes, as does any device that connects to a network. I'm pretty sure it's printed on the underside of the hardware itself.
And I'm pretty sure you can't change the MAC address on these without effecting your service. Did it come with a router? If there is router you might be able to change the router's MAC address and you would be good to go.
aspkin - Can you advise on what the best set up is for wireless ip changing. I'm running Virtual box on a mac and have uverse for connectivity - So I think that I should discontinue using ATT uverse and get get a wireless device to connect that gets a new passwrd each time.... But then should I put a device between that and the computer? Link a Linksys? This is for a amazon set up. Please advise... Great book BTW.... Thanks.
