Default Question about Managing IP addresses

When I am using my stealth accounts, does each stealth account need to have its own IP address that never changes, or can I just use any IP address with a stealth account as long as I've *never* used that IP address before?

If the answer is #1, how do you tell your router what specific IP address you want to use?
If the answer is #2, does this mean that every time you reset your router, then you need to check the IP address against a database of previously-used, ever-expanding IP addresses?

Also, my wife has ebay and paypal accounts for her own use. If my non-stealth ebay account got suspended, would hers be affected?

The main thing is that you try to avoid to cross-use ips between accounts if you know what I mean.

If you have crossed (linked) informations, ips or cookies is likely to happen.
I guess you are sharing the same PC same account and same internet connection right?

Before making stealth accounts, sort out your type of IP.

After turning on the modem, run IP Burger - Track Your IP Address! (created by aspkin)

Log IP.

Switch off modem.

Switch back on and log IP again.

Compare IP numbers.

the same number means a Static IP. Differing numbers means dynamic.

If your ISP is the same one you used on a suspended account, I strongly suggest using a different ISP to make your stealth accounts. Avoid making links.

THis is the file to always use for stealth & multiple IPs:

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/multipl...-stealths.html

Check it out as it is most helptful.

Any questions feel free to pm me.

ebay have proven to be nasty with the accounts of spouses and family.

Always consider that yes they might suspend your wife's accounts by virtue of
having a relationship to you.

Try to operate without linking as much as possible.

Once an account goes down it seems that they usually blacklist the address and take down every account that is currently operating

Not always happens like this. One of my legit accounts was suspended, but another one wasn't. The reason was that on the first acc the address was written like: "Street Name", and on the second one: "Streetname". As I know - USPS accepts both variants because of the zip code. They were operated from a different computers and were never connected.

OP is talking about his residential address, not a USPS box.

Criteria will differ with how ebay will treat that address.

That said, you are really lucky your USPS office offered you a choice of address. Some have declined to do this for stealth users.

The thing is that this was my residential address, not PO Box or UPS Store. Just regular home address.

On a manual review that would type of variation would be detected.
