UPDATE EMAIL RECEIVED BACK-

Case Reference:x

x December 2020

Dear x,

Thank you for your recent email in relation to your account limitation. Your complaint has been forwarded to the Executive Escalations department for review; please allow me to offer further explanation concerning your issue.

On review of your account I can see a limitation PP-L-252694701642 was placed on the 24 November 2020 due to some significant changes in your account activity.

We regularly review all PayPal accounts to identify the types of activities occurring on our payment network. In accordance with our User Agreement, we may close, suspend, or limit your access to your Account or our Services, and/or limit access to your funds if we believe that your account or activities pose a significant risk.

On 26 November 2020, after completing a review, we decided to permanently limit your account as we found potential risk associated with it. You'll not be able to conduct any further business using PayPal.

I can see you have a balance of £4,317.76 GBP, please note that in accordance with our User Agreement, any funds in your account will be held for 180 days. After 180 days, we'll contact you with information on how to withdraw any funds in your PayPal account if there's no outstanding disputes or claims on your account. In the event of a dispute, PayPal will seek to

recover the funds from you by debiting your PayPal balance and if there are not sufficient funds in your PayPal balance, PayPal reserves the right to collect your debt by any legal means.

Once the 180 days have been reached we will also ask you to provide a valid photo ID and proof of address document before you can withdraw any remaining balance.

PayPal's decision to end our business relationship with you applies to all current PayPal accounts held by you or any further accounts you may open in an attempt to circumvent our security system. Please note our system actively screens for linked accounts opened for this purpose. PayPal as a service provider is entitled to choose who we conduct business with.

I trust that this clarifies your enquiry further; however, if you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me directly on ppelce@paypal.co.uk.

Yours sincerely,

Sarah O’Hara

I've sent dozens of emails according to the list that Hanginthere has provided.

I'm still waiting for their response. My account represents an Legal LLC Entity in the USA, I hope I will get results soon and update to all you guys.

Hope your creative director is good. 4k is a lot to lose to a 50/50 paypal limit situation. That being said,i think that's more of a formality on their part, just like their 1st limit they do sometimes asking for photo id before any transactions are done, which can happen if your IP and such are suspect.

What did you write in your appeal letter? If you can tell us maybe we can learn something from it.
I read there are some reinstatements so it is possible to reinstate.
