Aking^^^^^^^^^

The information about 1 of these ways has been published on the web somewhere else.
Another well known eBay/Paypal site.

aking 10-30-2008 04:22 PM

ok, i have googled it and yahoo'd it numerous times. i guess i missed it.

Here We Go Again 10-30-2008 04:50 PM

Yes you did.
Because I just googled it also and found it.

trixx831 10-30-2008 05:45 PM

The suspense is killing me... lol... I'm searching as well..

Funny part is, I didn't even know there was other well known sites regarding ebay/paypal, as that was never really my avenue of searching prior to my suspension..

Intriguing...

JamesYaBaoy 10-30-2008 06:20 PM

Just found it my self. Thanks!

Stop and listen for a second.

DO SOME RESEARCH!!!!

There are at least 3 different ways around this 21 day hold.
This is public knowledge.
DO THE RESAERCH.

Lol, so I thought we were trying to keep this a secret?

Here We Go Again 10-30-2008 09:15 PM

I gave up... LOL

It has been published on more than 1 site on the net.
It just go to show how many people on here do not do any research before asking questions.

aspkin 10-30-2008 09:21 PM

Agreed.. but the more it's out there as Modee says, the faster it will stop working...

Keeping things on the down low for as long as we can will be better..

Here We Go Again 10-30-2008 10:39 PM

Trust me... I am still not going to post it.
If a person can't find it that is their fault.
But that does not give them the right to tell me that I am full of it.
That is getting old... But Hey what should I expect from newbies who won't do their own research... LOL

Paypal 21 Day Hold Question

I have started a new eBay and PP account about a month ago and it is going pretty good 17 sales and no real issues, but 13 orders have had the 21 day hold. Is this typical? I have been selling common, non risk items. I have even shipped before payments are received so I do not have to wait so long for payment. Why is my hold percentage to high?

Also, does the hold policy mean they are less likely to freeze the account and ask for SS # etc?

yougotit 11-03-2008 03:14 PM

typical

yes, for new accounts paypal is holding most payments. as you sell more they will start holding fewer payments. eventually they will stop holding

aking 11-03-2008 03:20 PM

just make sure you obid my paypals rules and you should be ok. be sure to put tracking info on paypal so they can confirm it delivered. Also, you can just call them and have the funds released after delivery.

TGMT² 11-03-2008 03:20 PM

On my new account I have about 30 transactions and everything over $15. has had the 21 day hold.

Burst 11-03-2008 04:58 PM

SWIM just saw a hold for $1.00

I am saying that there are ALREADY more that 1 thread about this topic.
Why are you starting a NEW thread on the same topic.

And if you would rather make NEW threads on OLD topics rather than take a few moments and search for your answers then more power to you.

Have a nice day......

Ebay is getting rediculous for new listers.

I listed something on eBay and when the money went to my Paypal they say that there is a 21 day hold on the money! There's no way I can afford to send a $400 item to someone and potentially not even get the money back.

I thought of putting a misspelling in my paypal account address when I list it, so then when people check out it will not work. Then, I can send them a paypal money request for the good instead. Any other ideas to get around this?

Well...I have been an acting contributing member of this forum for several months and have bought the stealth book and have spent several hours searching for the elusive loopholes that everyone has talked about...

And I have not found the definitive answers I have sought.

If anybody would like to share...feel free to PM me.

The one loophole i did find, would probably get your PayPal account closed down very fast. And Paypal has probably already fixed it.

aking 11-06-2008 03:34 PM

Yea, the one method i found that worked got my account limited, but i got it reinstated the next day. However, it did work but I will not use that method again.

All you have to do is call paypal and have them release the payment. They'll do it right over the phone.

The last thread on this topic was closed because it was the same thing over and over and over and over.

Look folks.....
No one in their right mind would post the answer to that question.
I know for a FACT that there are ways around it.
From never having it imposed on your payments
To having the ability to have any payment being held released in 5 seconds.
You folks can say anything you want to but I am still not going to post it here.
I have only told about 4 people on this forum.
And those are the people who I know and trust.

DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!!!!
