Opinion doesn't play into this. If they can't verify you, it can only be withdrawn to a bank.

I doubt it. It is just PayPal following the new federal laws. Keep in mind, WE ALREADY have several accounts effected by this for about a month. So far no surprises. The only idiot who was and still is surprised is Kajun.

I had one account with the following message. I just included random information and obviously it didn’t verify. But now there isn’t an option to try again lol.

Not something that you could try again.... You either pass or you fail. But did the account get limited? Can you still add a bank account?

Yes sir, you can still add a bank account. I’m sure after you call PayPal, you can attempt to verify again. I mean what if I were to enter the wrong details by accident? Goodbye account? It wouldn’t make sense for them to be like that, but then again. It’s PayPal.

Anyways, is all they’re asking for is last four digits of SSN and DOB? What about if you have an Avs vcc and bank account?

My experience is the ask 3 questions. Exactly the same as ebay has done the past years on selling limits. You have to get 2 out of the 3 right.

You CAN call in and do it manually. My technique is required for this. So far, no problems.

I just went to buy something off an EB account. I dont know if it was a PP glitch or what but I went to pay with paypal balance and it kept kicking me back to paying with debit or credit card through PP. After like the 5th try it let me pay with PP balance.

Sounds like a glitch.
If it was this new ToS update you wouldn't be able to use the balance period.

I wish people would stop sending me PMs and just ask here.

Nothing really is changing other that you cant send funds at all. Just withdraw to bank.

People need to stop having fire sales and paranoia. We have accounts that this is already happening to. It is NO BIG DEAL if you use bank accounts!

And if they are in the US they can get an EIN and calm the hell down if they are that paranoid.

Have a fully verified stealth account with a bank account attached and can't even withdraw. Get an error saying "Sorry, we need more information. Please contact Customer Service for assistance.". The only work around I found is getting a paypal business debit and withdrawing from the ATM. You can alternatively buy stuff on ebay but can only be a small amount of money in one transaction (less than $100). Idk if someone found a workaround please let the stealth community know.

Agreed, i dont see why this thread has ballooned to this size. Seems like a non issue to me.

It was the timing of the change at PP. After EB mentioned it was dumping PP a couple of weeks later PP changed their policy....it was/is a shared panic from very limited info about what's coming ahead.

1. I have many Paypal accounts in "Withdraw to Card" countries, will I still be able to withdraw to card and bank, send payments, and buy stuff

Happen to me today... i sent 1200 to bank other day, 900 to my business account via friends, and then today sent another 900 to my business, and then today tried to withdraw 850... wouldn't let me. I lowered the amount to 500 and it went through to let me withdraw to bank. Probably some sort of security feature.. i bet you been withdrawing a lot lately, or sending a lot?

Think this only affects usa paypals..If it goes as i think the majority of us think it will.This is what will happen.

You either add a bank to your paypal or add your SSN/EIN to become verified like always... If you're running paypals without a bank you will need to add one to send the money to anyone. Now, you can also add a SSN/EIN and then you can send funds to other people..

If i am mistaken, someone correct me.
