I've found transactions from Ebay are not subject to the 'claim your money' transactions, and that it is more from website or direct transactions.

Business accounts need an EIN, you can choose whether to have the earnings reported on your EIN, or SSN for the account if you have both connected to the account (not sure why there is the option.)

I'm finding since the TOS change, that accounts that were not fully verified and have passed their 180 day limit will not allow withdraw via check. They may allow via bank account, but that is not an option for me. I'm working on a workaround but I just wanted to let anyone know who is thinking they'll be cashing out their limited accounts via check with the same ease that they used to and plan accordingly.

I asked that guy who got the "Claim your money" to upgrade to business and see what options he got. Have anyone reported back about business accounts ? no. there were just a few screenshots from personal accounts here and there, and that's all. the guy who first upload a picture of this problem, refused to click "other options" and take a second screenshot.

I haven't asked anyone on this forum to create an business one, but that specific user to upgrade it to business and see the options.

I never had an account with "claim your money" message. i tried to do 3 accounts today, sent 3 small payments, none get me that message. all 3 accounts where personal, not verified, payments sent as "for goods"

Seriously, we've covered this topic. People upgrade, provide business numbers depending on the location, most using EIN's, so they aren't having this problem. You aren't rocking a business account without providing info to upgrade.

I feel dumb even continuing to talk about this, ha.

Just wanted to be sure. When they limit an Business account they always ask for ID, proof of address and so on...very rarely the business registration/creation papers.

My concern level for this on my EIN/Bank Linked Business Accounts is exactly 0.0%

You either add a bank to your paypal or add your SSN/EIN to become verified like always... If you're running paypals without a bank you will need to add one to send the money to anyone. Now, you can also add a SSN/EIN and then you can send funds to other people..

Not sure if this was the question being asked. 4/10 2 days ago. I created a personal, upgraded it to business. It asked for last 4 of ssn and date of birth. I also provided my EIN i am using.

Keep in mind, this is a stealth account.

It upgraded fine

I see, i was just making a new one and i noticed "verified complete" was obtained by adding a bank account. I think all of us worry about the worst, but it's likely not going to be that bad. Ebay situation is a different story, that's going to be bad news unless you have an EIN on every one and let it go as high as possible.
