Question Is there a change with PP EU limits?

Hi folks,
is there some changes about receiving money in EU acc, because i received alert that i'm reached the 1800E a while after the 1 year is passed. Isn't this amount zeroed annually anymore?

yes, 12 months after your first payment wait till after midnight of the day after and the limit should be gone

I thought so too, but I still receive this email, even though the annual reset was a month ago for example. And this is happening on my second acc too. So that's why i'm wondering what's going on or it's some king of bug?

have you received a payment after the reset? if so did it cover the first payment that the reset just went over? because maybe its not yearly, but its just the last 365 days, instead of year x through y

The receiving limit is 2500 Euros before they are obliged to get ID. That's not to say certain activity won't trigger the request earlier or that some will see this limit pass.

Contrary to what one poster above has said, and is a common misconception, the limit does not re-set.

This must be a new thing, because last year there was a reset.

Nope, there has never been an EU re-set since the regulations were introduced.

I believe half of you are getting confused. The limit is based on payments received not in the last 365 days but in a calendar year. If you've received 1.8k+ from the start of 2020, you should receive the first email.

Nope, as I said above , it has nothing to do with calendar years, it is a fixed receiving limit. You don't get an annual allowance, it never re-sets.

I have a long term acc, and thru the years there was much more than 2500e received, never sent docs to then. Also i remember the time when i don't received an email for reaching the limit after my "annual date". That's why i'm guessing that there is something new out there now. I dunno, i'm confused.
