I did this and got payouts it will be work for a while and at some point I assume ebay will want a full SSN and will do some type of verification. Only time will tell.

I enrolled 1 stealth account on MP and left the stealth info as it was and just made up the SSN last 4. I sold an item and got payout. I know at some point I will have a problem because ebay will ask...

Yes it will let you for a few days maybe a week or it then you won't be able to list until you sign up

It won't. This happened to me. It said failed. I had daily payouts and they failed several times. I even tried changing my bank account # and no luck until I entered my SSN then it was transferred
