Funds released then paypal limited again within 48 hours WTF?

It is almost 6 months to the day that I had my pp acct. limited. This morning I got an email stating my funds were available for withdrawl. I had it checked on my calendar too. That is just awesome news. I can recover my $154. I closed the bank acct. that it was linked to because I didn't want to pay $50 in bank fees if I was not going to receive the funds. Quite frankly I really didn't think this could or would happen. So hopefully I will be able to verify tomorrow and by Monday I should have a little more money to spend on my daughter for Christmas.

18 hours after I added a legit bank account and transferred every penny out of the account pp limits it for 45 days. WTF, really! I am so glad I was able to use it to suit my purpose. I am 90% sure that the transfer went through. I'll know on Monday & I will keep you all informed & on Monday I will be able to close the bank acct. & delete the user acct. on my PC & move on.

48 hours after my whoo hoo post that my account was not limited any longer PP limited it again for 45 days. PP reversed my withdrawl after I transferred the funds. I waited 6 mos. is this their new trick to keep the money longer? They gave a bunch of worthless reasons that I could not have done because the account was limited. All I did was withdraw my money. So disappointed this morning. I had already picked out something for my daughter for Christmas. Bummer, bummer, bummer.

Anyone else go through this? Are they going to do it again in 45 days?

Did you call them up? This is BS...weird indeed if the 180 days have already past...

I am not calling. I got the re limit email but it had been 24 hrs. and they were still able to reverse my withdrawl when I thought I was safe. I got an email telling me I could withdraw funds. When I did that they reversed it. This is just wrong at every level. Anybody that thinks these people are anything nice forget it. I have no problem screwing them out of anything. When somebody here worries about paying their fees on a MC999 acct. I say F'em. This account was dormant for 6 months. No transactions just PP & EB took their $150 fees, etc. So how did I do anything to get it limited again in 48 hrs. I am so angry. I had that money ear marked for a Pandora bracelet for my daughter.

In this instance, if you do not want to call them, you MUST send an email asking them to explain their actions.

I am aware of several cases where there were similar reversals. However when the users made enquiries/complaints they were lucky enough to have a reversal of a reversal....

You all got me thinking to call but if I call they could ask me to verify and I can't. So then I loose it for good. At least now I have the hope to wait 45 days.

Thank you everybody especially Greenie for giving me a hopeful solution. I just sent an email and keep my fingers crossed because I got an acknowledgement already. I guess they can re-enter the withdrawl immediately and maybe they will let me go. I hope!
You know I will keep you posted. That money could be well spent this time of year.

The worst part is I really had no expectations of ever getting it in the 1st place. Then I get an email saying my funds are available for transfer. "just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in". I was actually checking my bank account looking for it on Monday when it should have been there.

UPDATE: This morning I logged on to my limited pp acct. and there was a message that said my acct. was limited for 45 days OR MORE but funds could be transferred. It's 46 days now. There was not the usual acct. screen that shows balance & stats. Honestly I don't really know when this particular msg. was posted because I have not logged on because I didn't want to take a chance of being linked if I goofed. So I transferred my money & we will see if it gets cancelled again. I hope not. Thank you all for the kind replies. They were greatly appreciated.

Well it's now almost 8 hours and I just checked, it's not reversed yet. Let you all know Friday if I have the funds. The account says it is still limited but that I am able to transfer funds which I faster than immediately did. It actually could have been that way for a while because I don't like logging into limited accts. so I didn't for 45 days since re-limiting.
