Default Claim Filed Month Later

I have a buyer who filed a claim against me via paypal a month after he received his item. Saying it was not as I described. What kinda crap is that? How can you wait an entire month before saying any problem?

Isn't there a maximum of 21 days hold on payments received?
I would think that just stating the fact that it took the buyer a month to figure out it wasn't as described makes it fairly evident to Paypal that the buyer is trying to pull something.

yeah thats what I thought the 21 day hold was for. but apparently someone else filed a claim on me on ebay and ebay refunded there money a couple of mins after i received notice of the claim. so apparently the 21 day thing doesnt mean crap.

We all know it is weird.paypal could care less. They only need to get told some BS story from the buyer about being away, being in jail, having a dead cat, etc, etc and there's the claim. This 21 day hold seems to apply to suit paypal only. It's never ever been a benefit for us

When useing ebay accounts its best not to have any kinda payment method where ebay can take your money and refund the buyer. In ebays eyes the customer is always right! and hell even though the sellers is where ebays money comes from they are quick to screw any seller over some scamming ass buyer any day.

And what sucks about that is now if u remove all your funds from paypal asap u take a chance of getting limited! I usely try to keep some in there. I remove the biggest portion and leave a little in there hopeing to make them happy enough to leave my account alone.

Oh dont get me started on being limited. I made a stealth and decided to sue it right away. Got lucky. made 500 in 2 days and boom limited. asking for SSN, credit address, invoices, blah blah blah. I dont have a problem providing the information.. however my SSN is used for my personal paypal account. so yeah. sucks. guess i could just let them wait till all my funds are straight with my personal account and close it.

I agree. But I don't leave more than a $50 in my accounts. I'm at a point I have so many Ebays & Paypals that they can go screw themselves with those suspensions and limitations.

yeah $50 is about the same amount i leave cause i dont role to much through one paypal. I think its all based on how much u pull through like if u get a payment for 2k u w/d $1500 then u leave $500 in paypal and so on. This would be a aged paypal though lol u could never do that kinda cash on a new one.
