TracFone Questions

I'm activating a tracfone for the first time ever for my semi stealth account. Semi-stealth as I'm using a relatives info. Can you help with these questions?

I bought the phone from my local drug store. I'm activating it online from the tracfone site. I NEED to have a number that is in my relatives area code that is about 500 miles from me.

1. Should I register the phone with my real info, my relatives info or stealth info or skip it (it does have a button to click to "skip this section".

2. Where / when during the registration process do I get to choose my area code preference? (Just wondering if that is based on the address info mentioned in question #1)

3. I clicked the SKIP STEP button and brings me to the page where I enter the "Select or enter the Serial Number for the TracFone you wish to Activate."

I don't want to get too far in the activation process and see that I'm stuck with my local area code.

I would put stealth info in or skip it..

There will be a screen that asks for just a zip code and that is how it gives you a "local" number. When it asks, put the zip code for the area you want your number in.

I can't remember if it's before or after you enter the serial. If you have not come across it yet, I'm thinking it must be after. :D

Yes, it is afterward. Click: Skip this part.......add zip code where calling from the most......and enter the serial #........That's it.
