Crazy Thing Happened...Any Input????

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know of the craziest thing that happened to me, and if anyone has any input on what I should do...

So I got the usual MC999 call in and verify your info, so I did, not expecting anything but to get lucky answering their questions. Since my account is (obviously) stealth, they couldn't pull up a questionnaire from public records. Eventually, the CSR said my account would be suspended indefinitely. However, the suspension was apparently never processed! I can still login, list items, etc. I have not actually posted an item for sale since the call, as I'm pretty sure it would trigger some automatic suspension. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this, and what they did to possibly, and luckily, save a doomed account? Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

There isn't much you can do but wait and take your chances. And yes, i do think if you do try and list it will trigger the suspension. Couple months ago my acc was indefinitely suspended. Logged in 2 days later to see i can list again. Listed, and got suspended again.

That will either happen to your account, or the suspension never got processed and you got lucky. But for some reason i doubt it. Wait a while and try to list something, don't go too crazy. There isn't much else you can do. No point in not trying, what else you need that acc for...Anyway, good luck.

Maybe the suspension just hasn't processed yet or maybe they forgot and you got lucky. What I'm trying to figure out is why they suspended you indefinitely. I've had to call in multiple times for multiple stealth accounts and they couldn't verify my info either, due to it being stealth, but never once did they indefinitely suspend me for not showing up in public records, I just think that's weird. Then again, maybe I was the luck one...

Happened to me several times.
Pay attention to what they said on the phone. Youre suspended from SELLING. As long as you use it for buying only they will leave it active. If you try to list again the account will be zapped immediately.

i second that. those people don't seem to make 'mistakes', they are not your everyday worker

They told me it sometimes takes 24 hours for these changes to go thru so it might be early yet.

OP just because you can log in does not mean you can list an item. Waiting and wondering what eb might do is crazy to me. I would try to list an item. Good luck whatever you do.

I would experiment and try posting the next item you sell as 100% a charitable donation.

If they don't let you sell it, you can call them up and guilt them into opening your account. I think the line "What do you mean you don't want to support starving unwed African mothers with AIDS?" would pretty much work as a guilt trip on anyone. And if not, it would be a great story to post here.

But that's just me.

...just brainstorming here..

Other possible lines:
"It's an organization that saves baby leukemia monkies who have been subjected to lab research! Who DOESN'T love baby leukemia monkies?"

"Jesus visited my email and said that if I don't sell my used socks for the lord I would be a sinner."

While contributing a part to charity is noble, eB is actively trying to catch on ppl posing to be doing charitable work...for obvious fraud reasons...

I kind of doubt you can guilt trip eB omgoozle but it was a funny idea
