Alright alright GB is here...

*looks serious, scared thinking how to help this poor OP*

and just for the record GB I don't drink coffee!!!!

So anyways to the OP, when you make an auction, it says "buyer requirements" there is a link for information, you can click that, it's okay but kinda pointless!

Just under that it will say "Block buyers who:" Just under that there is a "change buyer requirements" the damage is done, you can only prevent it from happening again. You will have a list of things on there. The very last option from the pop up window is saying "only apply this block to buyers who have a feedback score equal to or lower then 5" So this is not a sure way for it to happen again but they'll need to have to build up feedback, in order to bid/buy your items, for that auction that is.

Anyways this option will block people with less then 5 feedback. It's a start really.

First of all follow Gs post.

Block anyone with 0 feedback etc.

Second, if you see a bidder that has zero feedback and you think it is your guy and you have not blocked anyone yet, cancel the bid and block him from the blocked bidders section.

I have cancelled many 0 feedback bidders on higher priced items especially if they are brand new and bidding 800 on an item.

0 feedback new buyers can be scary.

Time to keep your "friend" from doing this again.

Yeah I had a few problems with new buyers who don't know ebay that well and can be a problem, but nothing too major like you had. They use to have a thing to block up to 10 feedback. But that's gone! Now it's just 5 feedback how me and Sandy posted for you. Hope it helps!

And try calling ebay to explain what happened, and tell them that. And be like "how can he leave me negative within minutes or hours without getting the product check the time on these, it's my competitor" try that. See if it works doesn't hurt either!

I called them "professional buyers" and have caught many of them trying to get free shipping etc only to find the same item they bought being sold on another account from the same city.

Trying to get it for free or get free shipping is a tactic they have used and have found a way around the rules of not being allow the threaten negatives.

Since I sell mainly antiques and collectible type items they are not hard to find if you have to look for them.

I like to list, sell, pack and get paid and not have to deal with these people. But once in a while you will get on like the OP who thinks everyone is stupid.
