Default INAD Cases

Has anyone else noticed the recent changes regarding Item Not As Described cases?

If a buyer tries to contact you to tell you an item has been received damaged etc or if say they ordered 5 but only received 4, ebay automatically opens a INAD case in the resolution center.

I have had two cases opened in the last week. One I sent the wrong item and another the item was received damaged (crushed).

This is turning into a serious PITA. The buyers are actually unaware that they have evened opened a case. They were merely trying to contact me to sort out the issue.

This appears to relate to the 'new' regulations for sellers? No bad mark etc etc.

Looked at this last night on UK accounts.

Freaky to say the least.

I rarely read these seller updates.

Looks like I'd better start paying more attention (to Ebay updates and ensuring every order is spot on).

Geeeeeez, you gotta love ebay

I usually add a note with item thanking them for purchase and asking buyer to email me first @ ______ if they have any issues.
