Default Do we have to answer all emails?

Got a customer with a product from like 5 months ago. Sending me bibles of emails. I sold them a product that clearly states that for them to have best results with our product to use for a long period of time. Then they don't even buy enough of it. Most people buy it monthly from me, without any problems at all. I even get repeat business from it. A working out product (protein powder). I'm not responsible for people's results or efforts with it. Or I'm I? I wonder if they would go to the stores and do the same thing after 5 months.

It's not one of my top selling items but it's one of them.

Been selling it for 5 years since I started on ebay. Out of the 1000's of customers I had this one is probably one of the biggest problems ever, I am having.

Do I still have to reply to them with their nasty emails? Or is ebay going to knock me down the list because I didn't reply to all customer emails?

Its best to keep things professional even with nasty buyers.

As 'their' seller, you are responsible for their inquiries.

It can result in negative feedback and low dsrs which can get you canned.

If the item they purchased wasn't expensive sometimes it's just better to refund them and move on, unfortunately something like an upset buyer whether it's real or not can get your account shut down

Did you sell the product to this buyer 5 months ago and no other purchases from this buyer since the initial purchase? If so, this buyer can no longer leave feedback for this transaction. Also, IMHO, you shouldn't have to refund 5 months after the transaction but like Dmshark25 wrote, sometimes it's better to refund than have to deal with this buyer. You could put this buyer on your blocked list so he can't purchase from you in the future but you might still receive emails from him since you did have a transaction with this buyer.

Not after 5 months. They got like 3 month supply 5 months ago.

Some people are just dumb and it's best to let them know that they are! Otherwise they might go through their entire life without knowing it
Those kind of buyers are killing me sometimes. Sometimes you get someone who bought a TV a year ago now they are messaging you that the TV is not working. I usually tell those people that they are stupid for emailing me. Just in a nicer way.

With something like, please remember that you still have an option of contacting the manufacturer with this issue. I believe that most of the major manufacturers have warranties in place for their products and have been offering this service for long time and as far as I know it is still a common practice in the market place. Please contact the maker of your TV and perhaps they might be able to help you.

You will be surprised but a lot of those nut cases just go away after something like that.

I don't want to tell them off then they call ebay and say I was rude.

I see some people selling weight loss or diet pills in the field. And I read their feedback and customers writing things like. "They don't work it's a scam" it's like no one really does a proper diet, and yet get mad at you.

Some customers are just as you all said, "stupid".

I once seen a seller selling tires only and they wrote a negative saying once the tires were put on it popped a tired due to driving on a nail. Like really?

So they've used all the protein, not seen any results and now want a refund/replacement.

Do you know you have to train and diet too. some people genuinly think you take a protein drink once a day and become like arnie.

They are ignorant and best to simply ignore and block.

Block them.

Time wasters.

Communicating even with OK is catering to their silliness.

PS..... spin them out for the 6 months to stop a chargeback

I just worry because it always show 1 unanswered question and worry that it will be knocked down from the search. So far no more emails.
