IMO it's business as usual, it's the only way to eek out a profit from this low grade venture.

Luckily I don't need validation from anonymous people in an anonymous forum. Facebook and social media is the place people go to seek approval and validation (I only use Facebook for business) (before you ask no I don't sell the phones on Facebook..well I have maybe once or twice but the vast majority are sold to private companies)

I have actually posted in detail here because amongst all the trolls there is actually useful advise and perspectives.

My posts may be over the top but I like to be accurate rather than just senseless trolling without even reading the threads like certain members do.

I don't think returning something misdescribed for a refund is the worlds worst crime that you believe it to be. It's not exactly a holocaust in the making (unless you become prime minister and put anyone that's ever opened an ebay return case into concentration camps)

You asked for advice and I gave it to you. You do you, though! :)

1. Buying accounts are a dime a dozen, so it doesn't even matter if it gets suspended. You just make another one.

2. Most regular sellers of electronics won't even negotiate a return through messaging. "Please start a return".

3. True, for non-professionals. I guess

4. That's your prerogative. I try to minimize ALL losses.

5. There's no karma on ebay. Look out for yourself, because no one else will.

Yes I appreciate your opinion and I'm not criticising it.

1. Are buying accounts really 2 a penny? Won't my address / paypal account / credit card be blacklisted if I am banned?

2. Yes I am unsure how many sellers will be open to an amicable resolution. If they are smart they will agree as for the sake of argument even if my claim was false ebay would still force a return which they will need to pay for. At least my offer allows them to avoid return postage cost and seller defects

4. Yes I do want to minimise my losses but I also want to be fair for good karma and repeat business. A fair number of my purchases are word of mouth from happy sellers I have previously dealt with. Or a seller that gets hold of more phones and gives me "first dibs" on them.

5. Yes I know ebay can be a dog eat dog world. I get screwed over by buyers all the time but I prefer to be fair and like I said being a good buyer can get me repeat orders and more profit.

1. For the most part, they don't really care about the information on buying accounts.

Yes I see what you're saying they only really care about seller accounts.

That great news as it means I can buy 1000s of phones and make loads of bogus return requests I might buy every single phone on ebay, look at the phones under a microscope then create return requests because at 1000000 times zoom the atoms look out of place.

(only joking I am just troll baiting right now lol)

For all the stuff that’s happening in stealth and around the world, this has got to be the most idiotic thread here

How do you mean? As in ignoring the managed payments issue?

I think the show has finished and there will be no encores. Which team are you rooting for me or the trolls?

I received a phone not as described and instead of returning it I sold it on Facebook instead to save the trouble of returning it. That might enrage the trolls somehow? They could think I sell all my phones on Facebook and it's a low grade venture?
