3 dongle

I've just started using a 3 dongle.

It works fine, pretty quick etc, but for some reason I can not log onto PP with it. I can go on E'B no problem, I can buy stuff etc but when I go to pay the page freezes. I have tried logging onto PP direct and the same thing happens.

I've tried many times over the past few weeks, always the same. I went into a 3 store - waist of time, they had no idea. I spent an hour on the phone to 3 and still no help.

All sites work fine except PP ! ! !

I use a Mac, can't see how this could be an issue ?

Any thoughts ? ? ?

V strange. With both mac and windows I have never had any such problems accessing PP or EB with the 3 mifi which is superb. Sorry to hear this - hope someone can help.

im using 3 dongle for long time now NEVER had this problem,take it back to the shop you bought it from and tell them item is faulty and ask for a replacement.

my 3 dongle works fine, chances of getting any help from a shop is slim they only care about sales

you could buy another then swap them around and take it back for refund though

Hey bro, yeah I have a 3 dongle too, works perfectly fine with PP.

Would be strange if it was faulty, could be something to do with not being able to connect to secured https pages?

Try https://facebook.com and see if that works. If it doesn't then it is a secured web page issue.

I have just started using a 3 dongle which had no probs but got limited over a stupid listing mistake.

So do the dongles give you a new IP EVERY SINGLE TIME as im quite dubious now using it if an IP comes up again, i have read post's that whilst using Windows 7 (not XP) that it only changes every 10 or 20 times you logon, is this false information im getting and you have used the dongle for many months now?

i remove the dongle complatly and then put it back in when i change my windows user,im using it for about 8 months now and never had problem .i believe the ip changes eatch time. BUT im not 100% sure myself .

Hey, yeah IP changes every time you disconnect and reconnect, you don't even need to pull the dongle out each time.

It doesn't matter what operating system you use (xp, 7, osx) it's the same on all of them and it's the way the have to allocate IP addresses through DHCP, so this will never change.

For £10 a month it is the most perfect tool for stealthing!

I use a 3 dongle for my stealth ebay and PP accounts, a better way to get a data sim rather than paying £10 a month for 1GB is to have a search on Google for a 90 day, 3 GB, three data sim, you can get them from Amazon or ebay for about £10 delivered, Or there is a 12 month, 12GB three data sim that you can buy from around £50 from the same places

I took the dongle back to '3' today and they swapped it for a faster one, no charge. Plugged it in and bingo! No problems. Must have been a doggy router.
