Lots of options. Addresses you have easy access to are first port of choice. Other options are mail boxes, business mail boxes and mail forwarding being 3 very good options.

Neighbours address is a bad idea. It will get your account linked with theirs if they have one, and it may have bad history, or they could already be suspended.

For the other options, just go to google and type what your after. It will come up with loads of options in the UK for mail boxes/business mail boxes/mail forwarding.

Best way to learn about something, is to research it yourself. You will then understand it in more detail than someone else explaining it to you.

If you have a verified paypal and done things in the correct order, you would not be hit with a MC142.

If the address was completely made up, ie not on Royal Mail's database, this is the other reason for the limitation. You need to use real addresses.

So....

When people on the forum say "Just had one go down. That's no problem, I'll make 10 more stealth accounts this weekend".. obviously they're not suddenly shelling out for 10 more Mailboxes with 10 separate companies?

Are they playing a different game, not concerned about access to addresses as they will just say to a buyer with a complaint "don't bother returning it, keep it and I'll send out a new one"?

Was going to post a thread about this, last time i made a stealth account it worked fine and i used a private mailing box. But this time i was thinking about using a random adress like the suggestion in the Stealth Book, that says u could use a mcdonalds address or something like that.

And like JomJarr says, do the people who make a load of accounts have them all on private mail adresses?

thanks.

Concept of random addresses has changed completely.

It is one reason why it is important to use the forum in conjunction with the ebook.

Currently, ebay uk 'wants' a real postal address.

And if none is supplied, accounts get suspended. paypal is worse.

Sensible stealth users make sure their address exists.

Whilst it is possible to make a stealth account quickly, it still needs to have working addresses.
That takes some organising.

To run a profitable business should also mean not having to write off too many returns simply for lack of access to an address, no?

Another quick question

I have found a POBOX company, but what they do is give u the address to thier building, and then just give you your own POBOX number. Is this usally how POboxes work, because im guessing it would pretty easy for ebay to blacklist the address of the POBOX company.

Thanks.

You can use the address of the company (street address) and pobox number as Suite or so
