This is something I am not getting too.

This is not a scam, using PayPal chloe is tight to fund release, there is no way to run away with that money.

Am I missing something here?

Yes, it is an attempted scam.

Hypothetically, it would be very easy to run away with paypal funds if anyone so wanted. Their system is far from foolproof.

However, Chloee is far too desperate and aiming far too high. She will not be able to achieve a scam with her present M.O..

Let's be thankful for that.

If you read above a few posts this is not the only thing she is selling.

She is also selling mobile phones and requesting people who want a "best offer" to pay by paypal friends and family.

What is interesting is that Ebay are apparently happy for the seller to keep on posting auctions of high risk items having already lost out on fees for at least two of the previous transactions. Presumably the "three strikes and out" rules will apply when one of these "buyers" complain that Chloee has tried to run off with the money without supplying the goods

Joking apart it should raise serious questions within this Ebay community bearing in mind that many of us have been suspended for selling lower risk and lower priced items than Apple products and we have knowledge of a seller who is seemingly intent on flouting Ebay and Paypal rules on an regular basis.

There must be some benefit and a positive outcome to all this otherwise why do it? Yes it's a three year old account but there has to be a reason otherwise it's just a waste of time.

The justification for them is, make a few grand in a day, then forgot about the account. Its not rocket science.

They just haven't been bright enough to make it happen yet.
