They will still have to wait the instant/4/21/24/72 hours on top of that lol... as if the 180 days wasn't hell enough to endure. What exactly are they expecting to find after all that time? Seems very much pointless to me.
And I say this from experience... after 180 days on a limited account I tried to withdraw. The message during/after withdrawal stated 4 hours but the email said 72. And that is how long it took. Grrr

Eh? Why who has to wait 180 days?! That is absolutely criminal, surely by the time 180 days have passed you could have moved house, got a new job, got divorced / remarried and have a child on the way...! FFS!
Yeah Greenbean you could have had the Scotch, it wasnt anything special though like some Islay single malt, it was just a blended whisky that came in a novelty shaped bottle. The buyer was from Kuwait and he said he couldnt buy the bottle full as alcohol is banned in Kuwait, so I had to carefully remove the foil seal and I used a hypodermic needle and syringe to carefully remove the contents so the bottle still looked unopened. I hate whisky, unless its a decent single malt like that Laphroaig stuff, and I only know I like that cos I found a full unopened bottle of it while rifling the stuff left behind in the camping field after the Reading music festival.

I have a 72hr hold on one of my accounts for £50 Thanks for using PayPal.
Your withdrawal request is now being processed. Your funds can take up to 72 hours to appear in your bank account.
As set out in our User Agreement, withdrawal requests may be subject to review by PayPal to help maintain your safe use of the PayPal service. As a result, it may take longer than the estimated processing time for your withdrawal to reach your bank account.
Yours sincerely,
PayPal
It's been 54 hours so far.
I was thinking to buy something on Ebay as I have a some more cash in the account I want to disburse.
Bad idea trying to spend more funds when a withdrawal is pending? It's a new account

In my experience with new accounts since the faster withdrawals started (And theres been alot lol)
After the first 2-3 withdrawals, it drops down to 21 hours.
Today on over 10 withdrawals, in fact only 2 haven't gone through instantly, so it's getting better.

Yep I also learned the hard way that rely on one stealth account is a death sentence. Few Ebays, Amazons, and everything is fine.

Withdrew again, have to wait up to 72 hrs again. Bummer. Many of my payments have come from outside Ebay, they must be dubious of this.

Your paypal was in a state of change already because of the increase in funds.
Just bad luck.

To be honest I.prefer the old payment system(with new accounts at least). With the old 2-3 working day system you knew that if it didn't come after 2 days then the payment was safe. On my new accounts now I am getting 72 hr holds, and Its always 72 hours, not before. Now I can't risk any withdrawals/transfers until I see the cash in my bank.

Try and have something on the side so that you arent pressed on these deposits and holds. Yes it sucks but patience is key. I would rather wait a bit longer than losing accounts for impatience.
