I was a Top Seller/Anchor Store. I had a vindictive customer who obviously got friends to buy things and claim defects, 6 in a week. I had my selling limits reduced to zero, so no hope of rebuilding. Best part? No warning. Just one day, shop cleared out. No email. Nothing.
Don't want new account, this one has 50000 feedback, looks better than 0.
Has anyone ever found an appeals process or higher power in eBay that can reconsider?

Welcome to the forums.
You can certainly try and e-mail or call and hope for help - nothing is 100% but I would certainly try.

Call in, describe your situation, as there is nothing else you can do.

I don't quite understand how 6 negative transaction can affect you so hard, if you have 50,000 feedbacks already? Only yesterday I saw an account with 130k feedback, but 700 negative comments last month.
So you sure it was just those 6 transactions that did it?

So you sure it was just those 6 transactions that did it? | If every problematic buyer will call in and cry that he feels awful, they may send acc for an additional review, even 6 buyers can kill a 50k feedback acc, as there are lots of low-skilled guys working at EB, which can decide that the acc is non-legit, while it is. And when it happens in 1 week, the possibility to encounter a retarded reviewer is quite high.

Dont ever count on 1 account, it's stressful. Imagine how much time you would be investing in order to get the alike account. I think most of us on this forums were all in the same boat at one time.

Yeah. Having one account seems great. Its almost like creating a legacy. So many feedbacks, so many sales, etc. In the end, it is all meaningless. I was SO STRESSED OUT every morning when I woke up checking my amazon emails hoping no negative feedbacks or return requests or whatever. I liked my account until it finally got suspended. I then made a couple INDIV accounts and have been stress free since. Becuase they now have no power over me. If they get suspended, so what. I will make more.
In the end, all that matters is how much you can make off each account. Never get attached to an account. It serves no purpose. If 5 negatives can shut down 10,000 positives, whats the purpose?
Id rather have 5 accounts with 500/5000 over a 2500/25000 account

In this case, I would recommend writing a PHYSICAL, old-fashioned snail mail letter to the President of eBay and sending it to their corporate headquarters. I would send it certified. Not the president's signature only, but SOMEONE should have to sign for it.
I would not be threatening in any way, I would be VERY polite and point out that I had been an eBay member since xx-xx-xx and had over 50,000 positive feedbacks and was shut down without warning over 6 complaints, which I suspected was coordinated by a competitor and appeal to their better judgment.
The President of eBay will never see your letter, but their people will. And I am certain they would take the time to have someone higher up investigate it. There are no guarantees, of course, but you need to appeal to somebody who can actually help you, not a call center rep working in whatever country your phone call happens to go to. Because those guys read scripts and have to follow a set of rules. They usually have no power to actually reinstate your account. They will just parrot whatever is on their script about "eBay having the right, in their sole discretion, etc... etc... etc..." and apologize that they cannot help you.
This is how eBay works. They ban a lot of sellers every day and their call center reps hear every story imaginable, I'm sure. Corporations are set up so that everyone follows the same rules and there is little leeway for them to help you. Maybe they can help if the problem is minor, but not for something like this. I would not recommend doing this on a new stealth account or even a real account that was six months old with a couple hundred positive feedbacks, because they would ignore you. But whoever reads that letter is going to have their eyebrows raised by the high number of feedbacks that you have and will most likely at least check to see what happened. A normal rep cannot do that, they can only follow the script.

Oh, and keep in mind the President of eBay is no longer John Donahoe. He is now at PayPal. So, you will have to look up who the current President of eBay is.

File a complaint with the San Jose BBB as well. That will receive a reply from the office of the eBay president. They seem to have bought off all their BBB complaints and "resolved" them all, for whatever reason eBay would care about that, so you might get some traction by complaining there.

It just depends on your personality if you can keep being persistent or give up.
