Charge back case - Ergh.... -_-
Looking for a little advice if there is any available on this sort of thing.
As the title says, a customer has opened a charge back case on paypal. I assume because its now too old for an ebay case. Anyway I have no proof of postage, which I know I know (seriously I know) was not a bright idea, I have switched over to tracked delivery on everything some time ago, it's just that this one is a sale from before that switch over.
So with no proof of postage, I'm looking at the paypal dispute options and we have
I can provide proof that the item was sent through an approved delivery service to the address on the Transaction Details page. (which obviously not an option)
I can provide evidence other than proof of postage. (what sort of evidence can I provide?)
I refunded the payment for this transaction. (nope)
I will accept liability for this transaction. (I really dont want to do this one of course)
I've only had one of these before, which paypal after 3 months of making me wait finally gave in and gave me my money back because the buyers bank literally did nothing.
I was wondering what the best course of action is here, and does anyone know what else I can provide other than proof of postage?
