sending to argos option has never gone wrong for me, but I sometimes think it is another extra step after postage, so more chance of it going wrong...
so you are the buyer, it is up to the seller to get it to you, just be reasonable, as it is not their fault, but you need to ask for your money back, and start a case if they will not. It is an unusual case but if it was not picked up by buyer, you would get your money back, so it should be the same scenario, you have not picked it up, just get some proof via email from argos and forward it to the seller and/or ebay CS message.
The proof may also help the seller claim from argos, as they will get no help from RM, if it shows as delivered.
