AMZN hates alibaba and Aliexpress
From its email to you-
When a customer sees packaging and invoices or receipts identifying a seller that is neither you nor Amazon, they may be confused about how their order is being fulfilled and who they should contact with any problems or questions.
There is no reason to hold on to her $500,if they were shipped to her customer, and AMZN got its fees,it should release her money/But the issue comes if the customer complains or want to return the item
question,if buyer wants to return the item,he should return it to you,not Aliexpress, what is your return address as registered with AMZN
You can try, around Xmas, SE Asian manufacturers will ship popular Xmas merchandise to US fullfillment centers so they can be shipped promptly.
But when asked, they can prove they own the merchandise,

But how can he make money via FBA if he is dropshipping from ALibaba and Aliexprwess?
He does not have any merchandise stocked at AMZN warehouse?
There are plenty of risk in running a retail arbirtage or dropshipping business,
first sales venues do not like it
second buyer may not like it and file INAD,what is your return address as registered with the sales venue?
If you can find the item,so can thousands of others,so profit is slim.
When I find out the seller is playing retail arbitrage,I will go to the shipper say Walmart or AMZN and find out I can get it for less,so I will file INAD and make the seller take back the item, then I will go to AMZN or WMT and buy from them for less.
I am not the only one who is doing it these days. You will not just lose money on the deal, you could also risk a negative feedback
