Heres what happened in my situation.....

Opened new stealth account, sold 8 items in one day back to back, I knew I would be suspended as I am used to it, and am used to waiting the 90 days.

About a month after I was suspended I went to log into the account to add a bank account and it told me my username/password could not be found in the system.

So I used the password reset which let me reset my password via email, but even after it said I successfully changed my password it would still not let me login with the new password.

So I called Amazon, and they told me my account was being reviewed by seller support and I would hear from seller support within 48 hours.

Several days went by and I never heard from seller support, so I called back and once again was told the same BS that my account was being review by Seller Support and they would send the request over again and have them contact me within 48 hours.

I was finally contacted via email by seller support stating they closed my account and I would receive my funds to my bank account in 90 days but would not have access to my account.

I had to email them back and tell them I was didn't have a chance to add my bank account before they blocked the account, therefore had no way to get my money after my 90 days were up.

They replied the following:

Greetings from Amazon.com.

Quote:
Thank you for contacting us. Please note, we are unable to update your bank account information on your behalf. Once the 90 day review has passed, please write back to us and we will provide temporary access to update your bank account information.

Best regards,

So yes, even on DELETED accounts where you are unable to login, if you email them after your 90 days is up, they will give you temporary access to add you bank account and request disbursement. On this account my 90 days are up on the 14th of this month. I will update again then if all goes well.

Guys, let's be honest - amazon is not a big thief (some people believe it is but it's not). Amazon system is working properly and will never allow itself to steal anything. There are two kinds of funds issues - 1) your account has been suspended but you still can log in and therefore can easily grab your money in 90 days. 2) your account has been completely blocked ("closed") and you don't have any access to it. Even in this case you are entitled to request disbursement in 90 days but you will have to email them a request to make them update your bank details (if you didn't do that on start up). Funds should be with you automatically after 90 days if your bank account was typed in there. All other issues like you have spoken to many f..ing assistants, contacted different seller support services etc and got no help are caused by their rediculous unresponsibility only. As far as I know Amazon is a massive mess of "highly professional (lol)" staff which always tries to get rid of you, to avoid you and to forget you. BUT! They MUST return your money, just keep getting in touch with them and you will find the needed person. Never say goodbye to even 1$. All the best!

How are we supposed to know why Am az on does not reply? They usually reply within 24-48 hours and will say Thank you for your appeal but sorry - etc. denied.

Please let us know if you have any success. All the best.

Thanx
I had this happen to an account this past weekend before I could ship any of the items that I had sold. I had no access to the account & was given the same BS about my accont being on hold because of a purchase & my CC info not matching the bank that issued it, except that I had never made any purchases & I used a VCC. Today I attempt to log onto another account & I get the same "username/password don't match any accounts on record" message. No emails, nothing, all of the sudden I'm shut out.

Like Florence, I was told the problem was with my CC info. Any chance these holds are a result of VCC's triggering some sort of fraud alerts? I still hav access to the old accounts I used greendots for

I am quite sure they are since many VCCs don't work for sellers, why would it work for buyers?

Neither of us bought anything rsot, but we were told that the reason our account were on hold (looks like they've been deleted) was our CC info. It sounded to me like the rep didn't know what she was talking about, but I'm wondering if there may be something to it.

vcc's are fine as i use them myself all day everyday..

I may have an answer, but it's a service. As it takes work to get the seemingly deleted acct. back up to log in.

i charge a % - it's allot better then 0% because ur acct. is deleted. You have nothing to loose and only $$$ to gain.

Interested PM. -

iv'e been working on one and have revelations. talking to these people is so frustrating. I actually got an account specialist to email me back after they ignored me for awhile. Threatening a law suit helps! lol

They are asking for stuff that makes no sense for a sellers account. But seemingly deleted accounts are actually accounts on hold. You may be able to get your $$ but how they are going about it will blow your stealth cover, unless you can find a way to make bank accts with the stealth name on.

This is what i came up with on 2 days of works and countless chats with Idiots in Bangladesh and having threaten a law suit over and over.

Ok all,

I just got my money transferred today. It was after 93 days only. I e-mailed them at payments-funds@amazon.com and they just sent the message saying my funds are being transferred.

It is not automatic but just keep an eye on your 90 day mark and then ask. Simple enough.

Your account was not DELETED it was suspended.

BIG Difference.
