I've had a number of ebay buyers who actually used prepaid reloadable credit cards. Other ones simply I am unsure about but their cards get declined because they are broke and didn't put money in it.

they won't know its a vcc, as long as you have the funds to clear it you should be fine. When your funds on that card run out. Go buy a new card and register it with the same info as the other one and make one time payments.

I order a Simon Giftaccount yesterday morning. It said expected delivery was 2/3 but so far NOTHING! Is this normal? I paid for it with a 'real' debit card.

Yeah if you order it on the weekend you won't get it till mon/tues.

haha, yeah don't worry. The first one I ordered on a Fri eve, got it on mon eve, and I started getting paranoid. They'll email you with the card. Now I only order Mon-Thurs am, usually shows up within 24hrs.

Can you also add the virtual simon gift gard to your PayPal as well?

My account got suspended, and now I have a Simon Virtual account still with $20 on it. How do I used the simon account if it has a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address on it?

You can order stuff on the internet, just make sure that if its something that will be shipped...they can send it to your real address.

I used a simon card to activate an ebay acct, but got declined...
I've never had this problem before.

My guessing is maybe ebay has noticed that too many accts activated by simon card got problems when ebay charged for the monthly fee...

Maybe I have to switch to other alternatives...:mad:

I doubt that was the reason. Was it the typical "abusing ebay" message?

hi, to sign up for paypal and ebay, you need a credit card. I know simon.com gift cards are pretty popular in this forum, but my buddy told me they dont work any more, is this true? are there other options? thank you

It does work for expanded use. I've done it before.

i bought a virtual simon gift card 2 days ago, i just checked my email and still nothing. when are they going to send it?

Monday...they take a while if you order them over the weekend...could even be Tues...

I tried to use a Simon card this morning to register but I never received the email to complete. Live help then told me that they told me that they would have to mail me a verification code in order to complete registration.

Yes just put the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info, i did this just today. You have to put in your real info for the purchasers info, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info for recipient info. And by the way, Papyal approved my new Simon virtual card just this morning. Thanks again to the people of this forum.

But recepient's phone and e-mail have to be real, no? Or we don't care about phone, just e-mail?

when signing up for a simon gift account you have the oppurtunity to add your information and the recipients information. do i add my real info for myself and add ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info for the recipient? what about billing information? i need to pay with my debit card which is linked with an ebay suspension. do i use my real information in the billing information?

no they do not call!!

no you just acivate it thru the email you receive as the recipient...they say you need to use a phone but you don't..

Recipents email should be real, and the address should be a valid address although it doesn't have to be your address.

What is the difference between a Simon Gift Card & a Simon Gift Account? Is the only difference the physical plastic card?

Forget simon gift card, you want simon gift account, you'll receive your card details by email with gift account.

Yeah Gift Account is the Virtual Card by email..

Now does the simon gift account work with paypal? If not, what is the best method as far as registering a cc or debit card because I would like to take out more than just 500usd per month. I got the bank thing figured out, cant do the social security thing, so the only thing else is a CC or debit. What is the best thing to do? Thanks again in advance. MJ

Hi. Is it still possible to purchase a Simon Gift account and then purchase more gift accounts with the first gift account you purchased?

I need a bunch of gift accounts for different accounts so I can bid on items (they require a credit card before you can bid now-_-).
