Idk, think he was trying on clothes. I mean laptops. This one didn't fit him so it's obviously not as described.

Yup. One item I personally would never sell online and collect a credit card payment for. 180 days to return.

You can’t win this one. Count yourself lucky you got it back at all. This is the risk of selling online, sadly.

Did you check to see if any pieces have been swapped out?

I used to get that when I sold refurb laptops.

People would try to swap out parts for free upgrades...

It happened 2 times, the second time, I had a cop friend knock on the guys door since he was one town over and scared the living **** out of him.

He sent me a F&F 'gift' for the cost of the part he took out.

Nothing swapped around. Very familiar with this as well as its happened to me before. Had one Polish guy buy a 20 GBP item, got it said it don't work and the one he shipped back at my expense was a different item, he even went through the trouble of badly super gluing the sticker from my item to his, leaving a mess around the edges.

For this kind of money I thought he must be a poor poor guy. Checked his account on ebay, he was a big satellite seller selling 100s and 100s of items.

From then on I generally stick warranty void stickers to everything apart from new laptops.
