Recording ip address with dongle

Do i need to keep a log of ip address when using a dongle?

It is a good practice recommended by many to avoid potential IP linking. Use an excel sheet or wordpad or graph paper - whatever you like

ive been playing around this afternoon tethering my phone to the pc through the nokia pc suite,i get a new ip address when i turn the phone on and off and it works well,it is always 123.***.***.*** but most of the time it is just the last 3 changing.

Eb would mabey then have some of these ip address ive been getting today linked to banned account but can not link me with different details items etc right?

Also when i tether my phone (n8) ive been playing around with leaving my wifi connected to my router on my phone and it always connects using my mobile provider and never the router.
