Hi Guys--I have several of the pp debit cards--and just like Amex--
they will shut you down if the exposures too large..

I sell health/beauty and household items. No VERO here.
I haven't been kicked off since last year and that was under my real name.
Since then I had to go underground but I always fear they will get me just for no good reason.

I email my custmers letting them know I'm sending them a Google invoice and to wait, most of the time they don't, they just pay me via PayPal which I hate. For the ones that do pay me using Google, I throw in a freebie for them.

So many Buyers are brainwashed in PayPal it sucks!

I also email my customers on the side and after the auction ends letting them know I have more of what they just bought and to shoot me a note if they're interested in buying more.

Works well for me.

Paypal limited my account after one day,what to do?
 

Hi All,

I am from Bahrain and I have some problems with paypal and I need your help. Please excuse me for my weak English.I was searching for a solution to my problem till I found this specialise site.

I was trying to open an US paypal account using my US address (mail forwarding service) and my US bank account. I thought that will be enough, but after only one day of registering my paypal account got limited for what they say a potential name match. And they ask me to verify my address (using utility bill …. Etc) and to verify my name and this must be done within one week of there email (that was on 23rd June 2008).
So to verify me name I did fax them from Bahrain a copy of my passport, but I was not able to verify my address. After that they emailed me and ask my to verify my address again.

Now I am thinking of changing my bank mailing address to my US address so that I can mail to them the bank statement .But I am not sure if the bank (Etrade) will allow me to do so or not, even though they have that option of changing the mailing address (will they ask me again to prove my address?).

Please note that I do have a Bahraini paypal account, but it a send money only this is my problem. I need an account where I can send /receive money for doing some internet business.

Limited on paypal and can't complete 3rd step
 

Okay so i was recently limited, on a account that I was using that I had enough real info on to remove the limitations. I got past the first and second step of confirm location and confirm SSN. Now there is one last step 'Provide Proof Of Shipping' . When I click this it takes me to a grid that looks like it should have the disputed items in it, but mine is empty. I have 4 disputes 2 closed buy the buyer the other two reversed by pp for being unauthorized by the buyer.

Has anyone every have an experience with this issue. I tired calling and couldn't not stand the ****ty hold music any longer. Of the the emails I receive are form letters that have no relation to my question.

ok- is the $500 magic # incoming or withdrawing?
 

ok -- i read everywhere that withdrawing over $500 at a time is a sure way to get limited.

I posted in another thread about withdrawing $25-50/day here and there on five accts or so and was told thats no problem.

my question is: what if a pp acct. makes $2-4k a month?-will that raise any flags? or is it just the withdraw part that causes problems?

based on your experience, I would appreciate your input.

Personally i feel as though, not getting limited is a waste of time. You have to be more prepared to remove the limitation. After you remove the first limitation your account gains some strength and it can handle much larger withdrawals at once.

tyvm -- however, can you address my question about 'incoming' cash?

I doubt that PayPal has a limit on the amount of cash that can go into your account at anytime. Because if you think of those PowerSellers, they probably make over 1k a day.

1k probably 10k goes in their account daily, not all profit but sales.

Im sure they are more lenient with letting money enter your account. Thats the trap. I dont know how much they let grow and grow without limitation because i empty every day leaving very minimal balances.

yup. anyone should expect limitations. As you get through them, then it gets "better"

haha, sorry anytime this has happened to me, i just open a new paypal and ebay account! I'm sure it would take about a week or two to have the account not limited anymore.

go back to where you received the transactions or payments for the items and add in the tracking information there or call paypal and update them with tracking information and they will input the information for you.

yeh if you need sum tracking numbers, i have a few for some deliverys from the last week. If that helps?

Just be patient and wait for a customer service i have this problem all the time with tracking numbers. Just tell you would like to make an internal note on your account with the tracking number because you are having problems adding it.

I don't have any items to add tracking for.

ive had it before and remember i had no tracking numbers as i sent 1st class not recorded. How do you get passed that then???

I am gonna call them up tomorrow and see if it just a computer glitch.

there are so many glitches in the paypal system

in the u.s. you use delivery confirmation or some other similar service.

I notice that paypal would either block you from receiving payments or they wont. To tell if you can receive payments check the 'What You Can Do' section above the resolution area. Now yes is slightly dangerous to still accept money because you are not sure whether the limitation will be removed. But I have done this every single time since i read the ebay stealth guide when opening a new account and its worked every time because all accounts are unique, different IP, cookies, address, bank, phone, cc, etc etc etc. (this is probably also better for Paypal users that dont have to provide a SS# number...i dont know when they usually ask for this with US Paypal accounts)

Usually during the first protocol limitation you can still accept funds but your ebay account is also limited until the paypal limitation is resolved. Its kinda hold things up if you werent prepared with scheduled auctions. Scheduled auction continue as usual without buyers even knowing there is a limitation since it was in the system prior to the limitation. The best way to still make money while limited is through second chance offers. Because the auction already took place i guess the system doesnt see it as a 'new listing'.

In addition once the limitation is removed after the first time...the funds you earned before and during the limitation can be withdrawn all at once without any problems. Because Paypal doesnt recognize it as new funds after the limitation.

Now im not saying take advantage of this and build 50k in there while its limited. Use your discretion. The most i have withdraw after the limitation was 5k at once and still listing after without any problems.

haha actually second chance offers are my favorite buyers. You already know their interested. Theres nothing like almost winning an auction, getting pissed about it and then receive a second chance. Everyone likes a second chance. I always give them 1 day to decide, adding a bit pressure but again its only good when your selling something you know people want.

Not wishing to burst bubbles but ebay has been known to knock the second offers where there is a paypal limitation. Depends on many factors but does happen;)

I have a paypal limited with $700 in it and it requires that I confirm location. NOw my credit card that is currently in paypal requires that confirm address by calling the number linked to it, which is my cell phone. However it won't call it because its not a land line.... I need help...

My idea is this: Lets say I could get another credit card with a landline attached to it and have paypal call that number. Would that work? Or does it need to confirm the current card in it? It still gives me the option to add credit cards. I don't see why it wouldn't... Any help is apreciated...

You need to confirm that card. I suggest you use a phone forwarding service. Check out the Phone verification section in the forum.

You guys seems to no get the problem just like paypal, I don't have any disputes to add tracking for! Its not a problem of me not having the tracking information, I buy it from the click n ship right after the person pays my pp account.

Whenever you get a limitation including the "they want to terminate business with you" limitation you can still receive funds for a 30-day period from the day you were limited, but why accept payment if you know they are going to get stuck for a long period of time and there is a chance the buyers will file charge backs and get their money back with the money sitting there.

look, we have all given you answers, if you don't want to call paypal and wait then that is your own problem and you're only hurting yourself. Please don't post any more questions for your original question has been answered. Contact paypal, simple.

To confirm location you put in a landline phone # in the area code of the address you have on file with paypal and it will work using forwarding service. As far as cc is concerned it doesn't and has not ever needed to be confirmed by phone only by expanded use #.

Okay, I won't post any more questions just for you. This topic has never been brought up before. Also i called them and they are giving me the running telling me they can't talk to me for security reasons, since I signed up for this account with an Initial for my first name instead of full first name. Now I have to go through with the name change, just so they can even talk to me about the problem.

They were so rude on the phone, she just keep repeating security reasons.

Hi i know i look new but i have been reading a lot of this forum and thanks guys its been a big help so far.
I have had my paypal account limited for over a week. This is a real account and they have asked for many things to prove it me which i have done all o.k. Now to-day i tried to withdraw and guess what limited again. They now want proff of invoice proff of supplier and tracking numbers. I have sent all the tracking and phoned to complain that these are already in the paypal system.
They still want suppliers details and proof of invoice.
How do i do this when i have sent the goods and i do buy from a large website in china that accept paypal but don't want them to get into trouble.
Help please
