1) send them a letter of intent, stating you will sue them in small claims court, explain your reasons, make a strong case, that what they are doing is illegal. which it is.
2) wait, usually after 30 days they will send you an email stating your acct has been reinstated. then they will send you another email that your balance was reinstated.
3) withdraw balance. NEVER KEEP MORE IN PAYPAL THAN YOU ARE WILLING TO LOOSE!!!
good luck | This is also for accounts that are suspended for AUP violations?

AS I SAID IN A PREVIOUS POST, PAYPAL HAS STOLEN $455,000 FROM ME, CITING AUP, BECAUSE THEY ASSUME COUNTERFEIT FOODS, BECAUSE MY EBAY LISTINGS USED STOCK PHOTOS, & BECAUSE MY CHARGEBACK RATE WAS 1% INSTEAD OF 0%, AND RETURN RATE 4% INSTEAD OF 0%, LOL
GOT A 5 PAGE LETTER FROM PAYPAL LAWYER.
AND I HAVE 2 LAWYERS THAT JUST EMAILED BACK AND FORTH SAYING THIS.
"So PayPal believes they can confiscate almost a half a million dollars as liquidated damages when their “policy” denotes $2,500 per violation? This cannot be right. PayPal does not get to arbitrarily determine the amount of a liquidated damages award. That’s insanity.
Thoughts?
"
and 2nd lawyer said
"I think the correct response here is to send the same letter to the updated address with another demand for payment. After they start negotiating, you may have to pull in a litigation firm to continue the discussion and to show you mean business.
I think they know they can't keep this money. "

You seem to have gotten the regular one, so wait it out and withdraw. | Hey, just so you know its random, there is something internally that triggers it probably, or there's a background check sometime before the withdraw date by PayPal (can be day 179 too)
I've seen AUP limited accounts be able to withdraw just fine
I've seen balances been emptied from risk limitation accounts
I've seen credit record based limitations be emptied.
I've seen them not dare to touch corporate accounts after they look up the company on Google, Linkedin (probably fearing litigation)
It just goes to say, any money in your PayPal account is at risk at all times.

There are reasons why some folks keep their $$ in their paypal account- to hide from their spouse if they are going thru a divorce,to hide from tax man(altho it is not 100% proof) or creditors.
Or they are in a country which is politically unstable and the local currency is depreciating FAST.

Wanted to let everyone know a class action is underway against paypal here. It's in the very early stages and has not been certified yet but expected to be sometime between September to November.

This is happening to lots of people. Funny how some guys assume that the people experiencing this have done something wrong or are scammers. Lots of people are experiencing this it isn't exclusive to a certain group people. All fun and games until it happens to you

Because if it doesn't say anything about gun parts and you are sure you're in the right + with a lot of money at stake, get an attorney involved.

This is the legal way of paypal stealing your money.
I had this happen to me twice.
1st time - $4500
2nd time - $1500
Just have a glass of cold water and move on.
