They don't link you by what number you called. Especially for skype, many dialing numbers are shared and repeated over and over again.

They cant see your Skype client.
BUT - they will know what phone number you used and they can tell its a Skype number if they look into it. Also, make sure the number you used was never used on ebay...

That is correct.

Some banks do have an issue with mismatching name deposits though so you have to be careful to use the correct bank.

Ahh right, I see where you are coming from.

In the UK we use 3V for this or just a visa card.

On UK PayPal you need a bank account to verify the PayPal

VCC can then be used to confirm the address.

This wont work. Adding a US bank to the majority of countries can be done in addition to a 'local bank account'. UK bank account only works on two PayPal countries currently.

I agree.. you dont need the same IP.... but i would first browse, etc for a few days using your new IP and stay with that one .... and then list an item after a few days of browsing

You cannot choose the same IP. No need to.

You need to use a well selected VPS or VPN from the UK. Just needs to be a UK IP not the exact same IP as the account seller.

Yes they haven't updated that part of the new look website yet. On some older PayPal 'looks' it will still show as not being completed but will have a big green tick at the top. Nothing to worry...
