Once the item is shipped, the sale is finalized and is no longer for authorization and is currently considered pending. The shipment confirmation should not play a role in billing processing.

It's hard to say, but if it's only a few dollars it shouldn't link them. If you can get the account back into the positive and save it, that would be the best option. Think MoneyPak :)

any prepaid card is risky for withdrawing.
most cards require ssn anyway so just stick to a bank that allows mismatch name deposits.
