Default tracfone # question.

I just bought 2 more tracfones last night to open new accounts. When I activated my phones the area code & numbers are the same except the last 2 digits.

Do you guys think there can be a problem getting linked by the similar numbers or am I being too paranoid? Thanks

It is not ideal, but I doubt that they would link based on that alone. The only way it could happen if a human reviewer were already suspicious and looked at both accounts. Even then, it could be a coincidence.

So, I agree with the "too paranoid" statement. But next time you might want to try activating them a couple hours apart.

That statement is completely uncalled for and inappropriate. The OP was concerned, and it was a legitimate question.

And in my experiences, most people who abuse amphetamines are never scared or paranoid.

Sounds like me when I went out to buy cards to verify pp. I never bought cards off the shelf in the order they were in because I found they were numbered one right after another.

I do not think it is a big deal either but to make you feel more comfortable call tracfone and ask them to send you a new sim card and get the number changed. ??

That's going to happen at some point. Phone numbers, credit cards, bank account numbers.... someone somewhere has a phone number identical to yours with one number different.

No, it's no problem. You can actually call Tracphone and tell them you are moving and request a different area code You will keep that same number though but get a different area code you choose. then you can go reg. with Google voice again for 2 free numbers.

This gives you 6 numbers total to use. For $8 - $10
