Default negative feedback: how to resolve

What the hell!! Omg I am so sad. I sold some HDMI cables and I've gotten great feedback on all my sales up until this one guy.

I logged on to check my account and I see negative feedback..and hes like "BAD SELLER USED CABLE" when its clearly not used!

How do I get rid of this? Should I talk to the buyer? Just take the negative feedback? Talk to ebay?

It looks rly bad now cause I went from like 100% positive feedback to 93% lol..

Sounds like competition trying to do damage early...

Talk the person that bought it of you see what the person says.

I highly doubt eBay will help you.

Sad times....

Omg hes not even a competitor hes just some fgt who buys a lot on ebay and doesnt care if he leaves sellers negative feedback because he always has 100% positive because buyers cant get negative feedback which I personally think is just stupid.

Sellers should have more reasons to get mad than buyers so why wouldnt we be able to leave negative feedback. =(

And is this gonna raise red flags with ebay/pp? Will I be more likely to be limited now?

eBay might remove it if the buyers always leaves bad feedback for sellers..

Oh god don't tell me your selling Monster cables, just stop with those. Aside from the neg you will be receiving an MC019 very soon and a closed acc. If I'm being totally off then you'll just have to live with it imo. It sucks for sure but, I find negs don't deter sales. The worst part about negs is the fact that eb can come along and shut you down for poor performance. So as long as you keep doing good a few negs aren't going to hurt your sales.

Hey it's not really my biz. I just know those are risky to sell. I sold these when I first started and they turned out to be a hassle. They also contributed to a suspension but, you can keep selling them I couldn't care less. Keep in mind though you can't stay under the radar forever.

you can never have 100% feedback unless you know something I dont, but there will always be a stupid buyer to ruin it for you, get used to having some neg's its just part of the game

Not quite, there are plenty of highly profitable items to sell that aren't monitored or competitive at all. You just have to look hard enough.

Have you contacted him?

If its a competitor not much you can do as they are just screwing you. But if its just an ass, ask him how you can help. Tell him you do not sell used stuff but in fair play you will refund him half if he removes neg. Start there. Maybe a full refund if you have to make the creep happy. You just need to decide how important account is. If you have tons of accounts so be it. But if account is a big deal, buy him off if you must. Sucks, but thats eBay

Yes I even said I'd give you a full refund or any other compensation but he said "its fine i like the product except that its used, next time dont lie in your listings and let this be a learning lesson for you."

Like hell..who is this guy to be teaching me how to sell my own items. Ughhh I have other accounts..I guess I just need to sell more on that account to dilute that negative feedback, literally nothing I can do. He copy and pasted the entire section of ebay's used item policy and sent it to me. LOL

He said I have the right to write a follow up reply..lol so I guess I'll just do that. This guys a real scumbag. =(

1 bad feedback is not going to kill you - yes this buyer may have been a loser but up your quality sales and move on. Not all of us run on 100% feedback =( sadly.

This part can be tricky.
Pros: You can explain that buyer is a idioto in the follow up.
Cons: after you do the follow up, the idioto buyer can do a follow up on your follow up and if this idioto is really after you he can make it even worse!
Just things to think about
