What sort of bank account was it that you were adding when the direct debit was refused? If it was a savings account, you can bypass the direct debit section and just add that savings account again to the withdrawal page of your PayPal account and that will work ok

you should NOT let paypal try/attempt to take funds from your bank account.
As this is when paypal will actually see your real name on the account.

You must always have enough funds in paypal for fees, or pay by VCC before the DD gets tried from your bank.

Adding and removing bank accounts etc.. to fast causes flags and limitation requesting ID.

So its better to wait 24-48 hours before adding another bank account if you have indeed removed it yourself.

If paypal removed a bank account on file it is fine to add another one.
If you are concerned, then wait 24 hours.

If you wait until the time you need to withdraw to add an account, you are more like going to get the 72 hour withdrawal.

Yes they can - there is a receipt generated - sending receipt from bank to pp that can be seen...will action be taken? One time is unlikely but still worth keeping in mind

Yes they will and that is exactly why you need to avoid letting PayPal draw funds from your bank account

You can use the balance in PayPal or a VCC to buy items or to pay fees.

You will only be able to issue refunds from your PayPal balance so make sure there are enough funds in their to cover 3/4 refunds.

So let me get this straight.

Putting money into your PayPal from your Bank is fine?... They don't see any information?

But if PayPal take money from your bank (eg. Fee's ) they can see your real info?

any method where paypal takes funds from your account is BAD.
Whether its for fees or to upload funds to paypal.

Agreed 100%

The trick is to never allow PP to take funds from your Bank Account at any time. Either for Refunds or Fees.

I leave funds in PP for refunds and Fees, and I also diarise in Excel to double check this.

I'm not talking about ' Refunds or Fee's '

I mean myself logging into my online banking & putting money into my PayPal account.

How else would you be able to add funds to your PayPal account?

Use a VCC rather, or paypal WILL see your name if you get them to request money from your account by using the UPLOAD FUNDS button on paypal.

No matter how it is worded on posts.. paypal will see your real name on ANY form of request from them to your bank.

I never use Upload Funds button.

I log into my online banking & send the funds straight from there.

Think about it... if you were to send money to your mom or whoever, wouldnt your name show on the persons statement who is getting the money??

Because i know it does for me and every other person i have received money from..

Ok so that would mean when you want to with draw money from PayPal they would see your real name aswell?

Can you even use Entropay to fund your PayPal account?
