So I lost a case (surprise) on a stealth ebay acct suspended 2 months ago and have to refund the buyer. The paypal is empty and I removed the bank acct. What happens in this case? Does ebay refund since paypal is empty then come after me?

Not much they can do except try to take from your bank account. Removing it does not make it unusable. You will need to physically close it with bank. If you still plan to use the account you might need to let them know you lost your checkbook and the account number needs changed. You will need new checks and any other places you use the account will need update.

You saying that, after you remove the bank account, they can still dip in and take the money?

This is why you must leave a reserve in your stealth account to cover any charge-backs, fees etc. But then again you can't help people who don't listen. Sometimes you have to learn the lesson the hard way.

Who cares? Like i said, the account is already banned.
well usually when you dont have money to refund, they will request the money from your bank.
If your bank declines it, then your paypal account goes in to minus.
After a period of time, paypal will reverse the payment back to ebay and that is why there is a 'buyer reimbursement payment method'
If you do not pay still after that has happened, then it will sit on your ebay account (on arrears) and they then start the whole debt collector process..
